The most well-known strategy of Big Pharma (and other big industries as well) is to set up "independent" not-for-profit foundations, with huge initial inpput of funds. These startup funds are invested by the foundations and provide income. The foundations, then, fund the various ANTZ groups.

If you look at annual reports and other publicly available funding reports, you may find (if you dig deep enough) hefty contributions by BP to PR and law firms, who are in fact lobbying groups that push the BP agenda to state, federal, and local legislators and contribute generously to their re-election campaigns.

Most of it is very cleverly hidden under multiple organizational layers.

Interesting connections here. Pfizer > Pfizer Foundation > Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health > FDA

(Pfizer) Global Health Partnership
Goal: To support the growth of promising cancer- and tobacco-control organizations united by the shared mission of accelerating the pace of progress in the fight against cancer.
Pfizer's Commitment: In 2007, the Pfizer Foundation, together with the Pfizer country offices, committed $47 million over four years (2008-2011).

One of the most important goals of GHP is to foster a culture of results-oriented discovery and innovation. While each partner is encouraged to innovate and test new models, they also receive critical assistance from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to improve the implementation, measurement, and evaluation of their work.

Has anyone seen a TV, Internet or print article that conclusively proves drug company funding of ANTZ groups ?
With $ amounts would be a bonus.
We all know it is happening, the question has anyone been able to prove with evidence that it is happening?
Right from the horse's mouth...

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) grant archive...
Grant Archive - Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Here are some fun ones...
American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation ($3,000,000)

American Lung Association of Georgia ($965,918)

American Cancer Society of Ohio ($1.100,000)

I could keep going...

And then of course there is this...
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation establishes the National Center for Tobacco-Free Kids

If you add up all the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grants to Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids it is well over $120,000,000 (MILLION)...

This is just some of those grants...

After looking into this a little bit more, I may have misunderstood...

It appears that Johnson & Johnson did not acquire the entire Pfizer company, just their Consumer Healthcare unit.
So Johnson & Johnson now has Nicorette under their umbrella, along with a number of other Pfizer products like Benadryl and Listerine.

Try looking under Robert Woods Johnson foundation to see the hundreds of millions of dollars that go to anti-smoking under the guise of a non-profit. RWJF is, of course, the tax shelter for Johnson and Johnson, the maker of smoking cessation products. If that does not sicken you, look at the Tobacco Control sponsors, and there Pfizer will show in nearly every conference and research project ever conducted. These people are modern eugenists who have gained control of governmental policies and legislation. New push, of course, is obesity and the campaign against "Big Sugar" See Stanton Glantz's latest raves. Of course tailing shortly behind is the planned movement against alcohol, another cause of RWJF. Prohibition against pleasure is their goal. Looks like they are on their way to achieving it.
