(Pfizer) Global Health Partnership
Goal: To support the growth of promising cancer- and tobacco-control organizations united by the shared mission of accelerating the pace of progress in the fight against cancer.
Pfizer's Commitment: In 2007, the Pfizer Foundation, together with the Pfizer country offices, committed $47 million over four years (2008-2011).
One of the most important goals of GHP is to foster a culture of results-oriented discovery and innovation. While each partner is encouraged to innovate and test new models, they also receive critical assistance from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to improve the implementation, measurement, and evaluation of their work.
