ANTZ legislation, powerful supporters

[ATTACH] The state of Hawaii has seen more than a dozen ANTZ bills put before our state legislature this year. 2014 threatens to regulate where we can and cant vape in public, raises in taxation, license fees for suppliers, the complete BAN of all flavored e-liquids (except "Tobacco" flavor), and much more. CASAA has put forward the "Call to Action" and provided helpful webinars on tactics; issues; strategy. Packaged legislation put forward as Protect the children, also accepted testimony before the lawmakers from non voting minors by the hundreds (possibly encouraged by school teachers). As time allows, I've visited the govt website to look at testimony both "pro" and "con". I was so disapointed to see the letters from these groups. They include the state chapters for the American Heart & Stroke Assoc, the Lung Assoc. and as expected, anti-tobacco groups. please see attached pdf. file. Amongst the local "state' lawmakers, the very "letterhead' carries more weight than it should, drowning out the "individual" voices testifying against the proposals. (many of which are continuing to advance forward at this writing). Comments on combating these letters are welcome. You need not live in HAwaii to comment. You need NOT live in Hawaii to provide testimony against the legislation that threatens everyone. State by State, when laws are passed they are then touted as "examples" for other states to follow.
