Any advantage to alternating your attys?

Since I've started vaping (3 weeks or so) , I've continued to use the same atty in my Joye510 and when my KensBoxmod arrived, I just switched my atty and cart over to it and continued on.
I've seen some posters suggest that its best to alternate attys.
Any reason why?

Depends on how you vape, but it does prolong their life if they are given a chance to cool down once in a while

I have heard it was best to alternate your atomizers to get a longer life out of them. Which makes sense, because you a giving them a chance to cool down and not be cherry all the time!

I think most are doing so with regards to avoiding cross flavor contamination when different juices.... but alternating would also give you a "time-out" period to clean or gravity drain them as well.

I have been doing a little of both. For tobacco flavors I like to stick to one atomizer, for cinnamon and the like, I use another. Yet a third is usually being cleaned and when it's time, I rotate it with one of the other two. Doesn't matter which...it's clean ;^)
