Honestly I think ce3s are the best clearomizer as far as flavor goes. If you are looking for more volume the vivi nova is your best bet.
Rebuildable ce5+ clearomizers are basically a small vivi and do not have as good flavor as the ce3s.

I have tried eGo tank attys, eGo dripping attys, 510, rebuildables, tanks, carotmizers, and a variety of clearomizers.
My all time favorite is the rebuildables. They have the absolute best flavor and are the cheapest. The only downfall is their capacity.
My second favorite is the ce3s.

That's some very good info, thanks purelyscientific!

I also like the flavor of CE3 and don't mind the volume. I tried a few options about half year ago and found bottom coil performs better so settled down with CE3. CE3 has cons too so now I am looking for better alternatives.

Could you recommend your favorable rebuildables that matches the CE3's performance? Any link where to buy will also be super helpful. Thanks!!

I've got CE4/Stardusts and Vivi Novas, but I still like the CE3 XLs better (for clearos, carto tanks are what I use primarily). I haven't tried the Kanger T3 (it doesn't fit on the mod I mainly use), but I may at some point, it gets good reviews and I like the bottom coil of the CE3.

{edit} it's the 15th and the protanks are nowhere to be found...this is worse than the mailman constantly taking my goodies home for testing before delivering em to me. I'm googling this thing everyday instead of hiding in the bushes waiting for him like I should be. It's taking up very valuable stalking time.

This is the one I use buddy- Wyvern Rebuildable Atomizer
It take a little getting used to but it is totally worth it.

I buy my wick(fiberglass) here- http://www.myvaporstore.com/Wick_Material_for_Rebuildables_p/w4ra.htm

Cotton wick can't be dry burned and burns really easily. Fiberglass wick isn't very durable but the flavor is awesome and it can be dry burned and reused. Another downfall of fiberglass wick is it costs more. But that is offset because it can be reused. A good alternative if you don't like the idea of using fiberglass is silica.

I get my wire(kanthal 32 gauge) off of ebay- 100ft for around 8-9 bucks. I do 5 wraps and it comes out to 1.8-1.9 ohms.- http://www.ebay.com/itm/200850706478?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I prefer bottom coil too. It wicks better and for some reason has better flavor. The wyvern is the only rebuildable I have tried. Low cost, great performance. So far I haven't found a reason, (Or had the cash for that matter ;)), to try any other ones. I prefer smaller capacity atomizer systems because I switch juices a lot.

LOL.. You have a lucky mailman! :mail:

Protank is interesting...
So are the Kanger T3, EVOD and Vapeonly BCC bottom coils suggested by HyperRealist. Just so hard to find review comparing these to CE3!

I have been using the CE3 and CE4 since the beginning (December last year). I like them, but they have their downfalls too. I tried the Mini Vivi Nova, which was great, except for the fiddling and the fact that 2 of 2 cracked on the top threads (plastic part). I am currently using the MT3, which is kind of big, but gives amazing vapor and decent throat hit too. I like the MT3s best of all so far.

Hope that helps. I like Clearomizers, because they are easy and work well for me. It really is up to personal taste, like everything else here.

Make sure you get the latest VISION vivi nova. Their allot more efficient than other vivi novas by design.

I've tried the Kanger and not impressed with them. The old T2 tanks have much better flavor and throat hit. Their not the prettiest tank on the block but performance is there.

The Drunker is an excellent RBA to learn on. You can buy replaceable wicks but you still need to RBA a little bit. Just to get you started on the RBA scene. If your feeling saucy then I would highly recommend the Vision eternity RBA as your learner. Simply design and it comes with prefab wicks to help you on your first rebuilds.

GL with it and happy vaping

Ive tried lots of different devices in my few months of vaping. All have pros and cons. Every few orders I will buy 3-4 new delivery systems just to see what I like. It's great they really are quite inexpensive. Even if you don't love it you can use it till it dies. I personally think its fantastic the industry is exploding the way it is and new toys are coming out at an alarming rate. Vaping a year from now should be interesting. I'm stuck on the T3. I also have come to really like the bottom coil. I also just started using a carto tank and it's been trouble free and flawless so far.

Thanks man, that's very useful to many people on the same boat! :toast:

A quick question, what's the wick thickness you get? 1.0mm or 1.5mm? Is the 1.5mm too thick for some, e.g., the CE3?

I do prefer a clearomizer like device to an atomizer, as so often it's tiring to fill the atomizer once every few puffs.

I use 1.5 mm wick.
I dont have to refill every few puffs. Maybe every 10-12..
