Have had my GT for a few weeks now and man does this thing ROCK! I have a Uwell Crown installed with the Ni200 0.15 ohm Dual coil using 85 VG and still chucking tons of smoke after nearly 3 weeks of use. Have left it set the same from the start on AUTO temp control @ 450 F using 2 ea. Sammy 25Rs. Also have 2 ea 25R backups and have also run the Imren IMR18650 2600mAH 38A Reds without a hitch. The joules usually start out at 55J on first fire button push and adjust accordingly, ending around 35J when releasing the button on the same hit. Taste and clouds have not backed off in that whole time. Simply phenomenal so far.

My only small con is that the battery door can be wiggled slightly from side to side, but is totally unnoticeable unless I decide to purposely fool with it. You will definitely need a second set of batts and charger, but this works much better for myself, rather then having an internal charge port and non-replaceable batts, which thankfully this does not have.

I do get maybe 4 full tanks out of a set of batts so it does go through the power and juice, but that's pretty much on par with other similar mods at these settings. Can't imagine subohm tanks on single 18650 mods. Must be changing the battery every couple of tank fulls.

I have the black GT (I always like black mods...easier to see the display for me) and just need a black Crown now to make it look "sick-as-t*ts"!! I also have the RBA kit for the Crown that I haven't had a chance to even try yet. This Ni200 coil just keeps going and going....!!!

Definitely a stellar setup for my use at least... Very highly recommend you check it out for yourself. Oh, and I got mine from Gearbest for $42.99, before they hiked the price on 'em!

Update 9/6/15: Gearbest hiked the price up to $60, but they include a FREE Cloupor Z4 RBA Rebuildable Subohm Tank which they say includes the RBA deck ($20.33 value)

I have it about 2weeks. Im kind of new to TC and this Cloupor GT is my first TC unit.
For your questions

- Does it do what its supposed to do?
I would say mostly yes.
As I play around only with a main funtions on watts mode and TC mode.
All functions seems to works as advertise.
Cloupor GT 80W Dual 18650 Temperature Control Box Mod for Sale

Just some that I didnt try yet:
Joule power:10-80J *try at 50J
Standard Resistance:0.1-3.5ohms *try at 0.15-0.5ohms
Joules Resistance: 0.1-3.0ohms *try at 0.2-0.3ohms
Temp Limit: 200-600 Fareheit & 100-300 Celsius *try at 350-450 Fareheit

- How is the TC on that device? Is it a true TC Mod?
Its advertise to work with Ni200 (No Ti).
I use 30AWG Ni200 15wraps on 2mm drill bit that is 0.24ohms single coil build.
At 400F I try dry burn test on cotton just lightly yellow cotton no burn.
I use auto TC mode at 390-410F is my sweet spot for my 80%VG juice. Good amount of clound and flavor.
Its as about good as what I normally vape on (sigelei 100w dual clapton coils 0.2ohms in Dark Horse and N22 RDA at 45-55watts)
And at normal TC mode I set temp the same with 25J the result quite the same as auto TC mode.

- Does it hit 80watts, without any cut-offs?
Yes its can go up to 80watts with NO cut-offs, No auto lower watts. Even with 1/2 battery power.
*Not like my bad SMOK M65 which always auto lower wattage even newly charged battery :(

Lastly, At TC/Auto TC power consumption is quite good, fleshly charge 18650 (LG HE2, AWT, Efest) is goes about the same and may be a bit better than sigelei 100w (may be on sigelei 100w my dual clapton coils are slow to get on a hit)

And Yes like "Syfi" mention, the battery door can be wiggled slightly from side to side.
Anyway I already order silicone sleeve for it :)

That is all for my share info. for now :)

I just took mine camping. It was running a 1.2 Ohm single Ti coil wrapped in a Golden Greek Tilehamos V2. I placed Yellow MXJO IMR's in the unit before I drove off for the trip. I carried a second set of batt's in my backpack. Camping, there was no easy way to charge batteries so I thought I'd need that extra set of batt's for a 4 day trip.

To my surprise the GT was just under half battery level by the time I made it home on the first set of batteries. I vaped heavily while camping since I had so much free time. Even after heavy vaping while we drank beer at night, and even after two 4 hour drives. I'm used to mech's and have only had the GT for couple weeks and I was astonished since I've never had a single e-cig device away from house power for so long without needing to swap batteries.

As far as temp control is concerned the Ti build I mentioned was my first TC intended build and this is my first TC device. I failed at setting the auto joules since old habits had me juice my wick before setting the GT. I guess it's supposed to be performed dry. But I was able to manually set the Joules and the Watts to a comfortable vape. However variable watts mode could achieve the same vape with this build, so I thought, why do I need TC?

I tried my first Ni build last night and the GT failed to recognize the dry wick!!! Lit my Japan cotton right into flames! I tried to rewick and for some reason the GT started giving the dry coil error message, but my I was all juiced up. I don't know what was going wrong and gave up until next time.

I'm happily vaping an Atty3 dripper on the GT right now with quad kanthal in variable watts mode. Overall I'm happy with this device. It's size is great and it's easy to operate.

One huge downfall I just remembered though: the 510 connection appears to be brass. It is my opinion that they should always be steel. I''ve had too many problems with brass threads wearing out.

You have me excited, By Chance I bought your exact setup. I just bought the Cloupor GT along with the Uwell Crown. Chose the Cloupor GT because it's one of the smaller units and the price is reasonable. Chose the Crown because it was the highest rated on YouTube. I'm hoping I like mine as much as you do. I'll be back on the thread after it arrives in 4 days.

Well my Cloupor Gt arrived today, but my Crown Tank won't arrive until Sunday.

So anxious to try out my new toy that I went to E-Cig City and tried and bought a Herakles Tank.

I'm rocking it with the Herakles Tank. Prebuilt .20 Titanium Coils at 480" Farenheit. It's a tasty flavorful Vape.
I bought two Efest IMR Batteries at 3000mah and I've vaped 3 4ml tanks and not even made a dent in the battery.

So far with the Titanium Coil it does what it's supposed to.

Form factor is small. I noticed one feature that none of the reviewers noticed which is golden for me.

You don't have to click 5 times in a row to turn on and off the power, you just have to click more then 5.
For example if you click a bunch of times without counting it'll turn on and off the mod. This is excellent because
this is the first 5 click mod I've ever had that I had no problem starting or turning off.

The one drawback is what's been mentioned so many times before. The door is just not engineered right. Easy to fall off
and easy to move. Besides the door I'm a happy camper.

Received my Crown Tank and I'm rocking it at 480'F, You are spot on in your assessment. Only difference of opinion that I have is I find the door more annoying than you do.
I put a rubber band around it and that's alleviated the situation. I found tiny magnets at Home Depot and I'm considering risking it and epoxying more magnets inside.

One warning, the Crown Tank uses Synthetic Wicking and I had a bad taste for the first Tank. After a tank or two the bad taste went away.

I have the Efest 3000mah Bats and it's lasting me over 24 hours [ 1/4 Full]. I want my bats to last so I'm going to change them at the 24 hour point or less. It's Probably around 4 Tanks. So on lower Mah Bats you are spot on.
