Any Comic Book Dorks?

I've gotta call you on the 50K comics fitting into four big boxes ... unless those "big boxes" are shipping cartons for hot tubs, LOL

I earn my living running a machine which binds saddle stitched publications, and have a pretty good handle on how much volume 50,000 comics would occupy ... sounds like three or four large pallets, stacked about 4' high.

Oh, many times I could kick myself for selling my collection. About 30 years ago, mostly DC Comics purchased from the mid 1960s to mid 1970s. Sold to a coin/collector's hobby shop sort of place when I was despirate for money. I think they paid me something like $35 for the lot. Sadly, I knew even as I was doing it that I would always regret it. But, what can you do?

You are right. It was a typo. I meant 5,000 not 50K.

(Basically any Punisher comic where he kills off random characters.)

The Joker: The Killing Joke

And I really enjoyed the Dark Avengers series.

Its just so hard to keep up with all the characters most of the time.

Yup, that's the one I have. Have they made it any easier to sync?

I was on the Ray, out of Charleston, about a century ago. I think that makes about 5 bubbleheads on this forum so far.

I thought it was pretty easy. I just installed the program on my computer, put the app on my ipod. Then dragged the .cbr file into the program, it converted it. The only problem I had, was figuring out which button synced it to the ipod. Once I did that everything went pretty smoothly.

Yeah, I was on the Bolivar in Charleston, '90-'93. Good times.

I'll give it another shot, maybe I'm just not patient enough.

I was there in the late 70's. Not so great a time. The military was being frowned upon at the time by the general population. I lived out on the Isle of Palms, pretty much right on the beach, so that was good.

Took me an hour of fooling with it, but I finally got it to sync. When I first got this program, it synced via USB, now it has to be WiFi, which my firewall didn't like. I've got them on there, but they're a pain to read on this thing. I thought it had some kind of intelligent zooming built into it to make it easier?

If you haven't checked out The Dark Reign series I HIGHY recommended you do.

They have some pretty epic battles with Doctor Doom and Sentry.

My fav part is when Sentry(a bit of a bi-polar) rips Morgan Le Feys head straight off when they are storming Dooms castle and battling bunchs of dark demons that she is summoning.
