Thanks everyone for all your advice! I'm going to take some time to learn more about e cigs, meters, batteries and Mech mods before I start vaping with my beautiful Nemesis<3 I have a backup regulated mod anyway.
Much love! <33
We are here to help each other. There are NO questions that someone here won't be able to help. I also have a Nemesis, but have done extensive research and know how to use it properly. May I also suggest perhaps getting some fuses for your nemmy? http://www.dfwvapor.com/index.php/vape-safe.html

Now we got a deal! use the regulated mod till yoy learn to vape safely with a mech.

Every one that blows themself up with s mech mod makes vaping look dangerous when its a bunch of idiots stressing their batteries because they were too busy blowing clouds to learn ohms law. And battery safety.

OP,, requires 2 to 3 ohm resistance coils.Look for hi-resistance cartomizers or T3s kangertech clearos at fasttech.
Cartos would be available at kidney punchers.
At that high resistance amp draw about 1.5 to 3.3 amps, dependant on SOC of cells.
Very safe actually..
tsk dave you only picked up on part of the post... but since they do have a reg and are going to learn whew...

Ok, good. So, using the regulated will be easier if it's variable wattage/voltage. What about the sub Ω vape was bad for you, what type of vape do you like? Do you tend to draw direct to your lungs or into your mouth first then lungs?

Very, very cool! I am definitely going to get these! Would they be okay for a 3.6v battery you think? Or should I get a different battery? :)

I like mouth then lungs, I don't like any burning, just nice and smooth :)

I really don't intend for this to sound rude condescending or harsh, but;
If you do not understand battery saftey, proper battery selection, ohms law, own & know how to use a multi-meter or some accurate way to measure resistance & check for shorts & most importantly know how to recognize & mitigate the dangers that can occur when using a mechanical it would be best to put it away and not use a mechanical until you do.

Seems you're not understanding, mechanical's have no saftey features other than the users knowledge and are dangerous if used by the inexperienced without the knowledge to use them safely.

The fuses & kicks may not fit in your tube with a battery unless it included a fuse/kick extension ring.
They also limit the power output & resistance range & are known to function inconsistently.

I have to agree with @Topwater Elvis in that you need a complete understanding FIRST on how to use a mech, those fuses and kicks can be useful, they are by no means a substitute for knowledge or a sense of security without understanding.

I guess I won't get them then :/
The fuses should fit in a nemesis, if you have the little ring that's about 2-3mm that should have come with it. The fuses will trip if you go over a certain amp load, so they can help, though some people find them to be too restrictive. You still have to learn the rest though. I know it seems like we're being mean, but it really is for your safety. The most dangerous part of any e-cig is the battery, and using a mech means you need to know more than others to be safe. In truth, everything I mentioned in my first post in this thread should also be known by people using regulated mods, the difference being that most regulated mods have meters and short protection built in.

I think someone mentioned the nautilus tanks, those would probably be a good start for you. You can also search out the "tootle puffer" threads here which are for people who like higher resistance, lower power, mouth to lung vaping.

Do you have the Nemesis already? If so, put it in a drawer for later. If you must have a mech mod, find one with less lose-able parts.
While your at it you'll need some good batteries, do you have those?
I'll let the other experts do the tank talking, I only use rda's :)

Now if you must have a mech mod, tell me what you're looking for in a mech and I'm you Huckleberry ;)
