I was impressed with his nemesis as well. He did have a cool dripper that I forgot the name of that I want to try out.

Helios Dripper. He had some air holes drilled out, though. I've got two of those coming as well, as well as a gold X1 for my pipe and a kayfun for the Nemesis. I don't know why I do this to myself. Yes, the stuff is cheaper from China but I HATE waiting.

I didn't realize his name was Chris either. Very cool guy. He was showing me his Nemesis....I was surprised. I wasn't going to order anything from where he got his Nemesis...but he convinced me to. I have one on the way...we had a good laugh about it! I'm going out of my way not to use certain words here...or mention a certain vendor....but if you've seen his, then you know what I mean!

What time Thursday night?

Saw that clone..... thought it was the real deal

I ordered a kayfun clone from that vender also the other day... Semiansteam talked me into it...... he didnt mean to im sure.....you know how that happens.

Not this Thursday night but the following... Nov 7th 6pm til 7 ...Micro coils..

I don't see any reason not to mention Fasttech. It's not like they sell the Nemesis in any of our local shops.

I already had one coming, and when he showed me his I thought it was an original Atmomixani. I was shocked when he told me it was the FT clone. Unfortunately that only makes the wait harder. LoL.

the wait is hard...I switched my order to the brass one because it shipped next day instead of 10 days. I'll be surprised if it's on par with his. Part of me thinks his is real and he says it's a clone so we don't knock him down and take it from him. He's not exactly big!

If you looked real closely at his you'll see the logo is a little low quality. If I'd paid $200 for it I'd be unhappy just because of the logo, but then again it's not something you can tell at a glance. I would've gone with the brass but for some reason it tarnishes in hours in my hands.

I noticed that too. He said someone offered him $600 for the whole set up a couple hours before I got there. He said it was only worth about $35 with the dripper....the guy bought some juice. hahaha

Something I forgot to mention yesterday to whichever of you it was that was talking about DIY'ing, Cliffdiver and Thunderball... If you want to avoid mixing large bottles of juice that you're not sure you'd like cut the mix down to the smallest amount possible. (For examples, if it's 1ml grape, 2ml raspberry, 1ml orange cut it down to 1 drop grape, 2 drop raspberry, 1 drop orange) and mix it in the smallest bottle you've got. Use an RDA to give it a shot. You should have enough in the bottle for a couple of good hits. That'll tell you if it's possible that you'll love it or if it makes you gag.

I would like to attend one (or some) of the Thursday get togethers if I can learn from them, but I am a little nervous. I recently attended the meet in Suwanee and noticed most attending were male. Are any of the ladies expecting to attend these? I don't mean any offense, it's just that I'm female and some times it seems the guys can grasp the mechanical/DIY stuff much quicker than I can. It's not that I'm slow, it's just my mind is more geared right now to mixing juices (which I've gotten pretty good at, and testing them is a lot of my reason for getting into dripping). My husband helps, but I want to become even more DIY.
SteamCigs is a bit of a drive for me but if you have ever have demonstration on how to drip and/or how to build coils or do other DIY things, I would love to attend.

I believe about half of the employees at Steam Cigs are female. I think you'd be comfortable.

Come now Marsh, I didn't scare you too much did I?

I wasn't paying attention to how many but there were a decent number of women at Adrenaline. I'm sure your husband will take care of you, lol. How are the two of you BTW? Did you get the VTR you were interested in?

No, you don't skeer me.............. After hearing from you, Now I feel comfortable - didn't realize you were a part of this thread. How are you and how do you like your VTR?

I love, love, love my SVD and ordered another one the next day after receiving the 1st. Somehow it only took 7 days to get that one. Then I read the post about the Vamo V5 being available at FastTech and it's now in SF, I should get it in a few days. Tonight I ordered the gold Trident (FT) and a matching gold Chi-you (FT) and I don't have a clue as how to use them. Hoping I can get some guidance.

Come on down to Steam Cigs next Thursday and we'll show you how to build coils.

Thanks, I will take you up on that. So far all I have done is replace flavor wicks and dry burned. I've not had any coils go out on me..yet. I counted my stash tonight and already have a total of 855 mil of different ejuices in various stages of steeping. I thought it might be time for me to step up and learn how to use a dripper. I have much to learn.

Christie, one of Steam Cig's employees, is going to be doing the tutorial I believe.

I don't have a VTR and I haven't actually held one yet. I thought you were going to order one from what you said. Glad you like the SVD though.

I can't really vouch for the people in this thread, yet, but I can vouch for Steam Cigs. Good environment and employees. I think I pointed out the owner, Matt, at Adrenaline. He's the one I told you makes epipemods.com equipment. I think the Christie that Simian just mentioned was at the table with him.

Nice guy and very friendly. I met the owner of I've Got The Vapors there as well. She had the only sigelei v5 in stock (at that time). It was at her shop. Had she brought it to the meet, I'm pretty sure that I would have bought it. I had researched the V5 beforehand and it was on my short list. I had visited her store when it 1st opened up, small but nice store. They didn't have much in stock at that time.

I had considered the VTR but wanted to see one 1st. I decided to get another SVD as a backup instead. I am very pleased. I ordered the Vamo because I wanted to see how they compared. If I don't like it I will give it to my nephew as I am trying to get him and his mother off cigs. I got a chance to look at the VTR today at the B&M in Cumming. Looks nice, something I will still consider.
