Hi and welcome,
I'm not German, but from Spain, it looks like another EU money grab.

"The new tax is “a response to current market developments.” It would include a tax of €0.02 ($0.02) per mg of nicotine for e-liquids, effective July 1, 2022. Beginning Jan. 1, 2024, the tax would double by the end of 2026."

Agreed on the EU money grab comment.

Also in Spain and i just waiting for this to happen to us.
Doubt they will put a new ''tax'' on mods,atomizers of PG/VG (since it has commercial uses).
The only way the government can screw us is putting tax on nicotine,we can only hope it is a small %...
But then again if the government is losing money (from the sales of cigarettes) they will want to make up for it.

Truly pathetic,they should encourage vaping to people that smoke,the doctors should have bussiness cards from local vape shops and encourage them to go and visit them but no they are just thinking on how to make more money,truly saddens me.
