I've been mixing for a couple of months now and just can't get my coconuts or Pina Coladas to where I enjoy them. I want a sweet flavor, heavy on the coconut without any bitterness..... I'd even vape coconut mixed with other fruits. I've been through about 10 coconuts in both pre-mixed AND concentrates and can never get a good recipe or pre-mixed flavor. The closest I ever came was adding sweet cream to coconut....but it was far from perfect. I want something like a coconut cream pie without the crust... or a colada flavor that is heavy on the SWEET coconut. Coconuts just haven't translated well for me with vaping so far..... but I AM a newbie at mixing, so I thought some of you might have some ideas for me to try. Any help would be appreciated:)

Have you tried capella's coconut? It tastes just like shaved sweetened coconut. I haven't mixed it with anything yet, so I can't advise on what it goes well with. I can't imagine it being bad with anything, though.

I have the TPA coconut.. maybe I mixed it at the wrong percentage. I AM new to mixing... I've only been doing ot for about 2 months now. I used the calculator and kept trying t fix it.. I think I've mixed it 4 or 5 times now and have never gotten anything I loved from it. I vape TPA's passion fruit, cantaloupe, peach, pineapple and others and love them all... but coconut just hasn;t worked for me yet. What percentage do you mix it at? I even tried to sweeten it up with some sweet cream and that was the best result I've ad thus far but FAR from perfect. It's just sat on my shelf since I made it. I tried it again a couple of weeks later to see if letting it sit and steep helped it, but it tastes the same. And Pina Colada has been ever harder for me to find and like..... I tried Vrgin Vapor's version and truly HATED it. It tastes bitter and not sweet enough...they all seem to have a strange after-taste or something.. I can't quite put my finger on it. Right now I'm vaping a couple pre-mixed juices, which is rare for me.. I usually vape flavors I mix myself. But I heard about these two flavors and tried them out... Hype and Cravelope from Alien Visions. YUM!!!! I wish I could break down the Hype formula so I could mix it myself! But there are so many subtle flavors that are hard to pin down....

Thanks for trying to help me! Maybe I'm just too picky with this flavor? I lived in the Virgin Islands for a few years and drank the most perfect Pina Coladas on earth there...perhaps my brain just won't accept anything less as acceptable?

Very well a possibility there! But I'm sure if you want it bad enough, you'll go through the trial and error and eventually get it right. I haven't found a Pina Colada I like either, but I have been vaping a Coconut Cream I made that's pretty tasty. Not perfect, but tasty enough to finish off the bottle.

Same here. I've gone through a bottle of the stuff and never could get a mix that I liked with it.

Pineapple was the culprit in my mix.It over powered the coconut. The Capella's coconut is very good.So I'm going to try the Pina Colada with some Bavarian Creme from Lorann's.I believe its getting the pineapple just right as that is the strongest flavor in the mix.All is just my opinion and its what I'm going to try.
