i'll be getting my 1st Temp Control mod, still can't decide over which to choose.

shall i get a sigelei 150w TC or ipv4s?
I was going to get an IPV4S but then instead went with the IPV D2. Lots of power for how tiny it is. I figured I'd use the D2 and see if I liked temp control, and if I do then I'll get an IPV3li. I figured if I'm gonna have a larger device might as well get one that has more power than I'll ever need!

the ipv3 li was on my wish list too. but my vendor doesn't carry the lastest model(ipv3 li vr). i'm not getting the ipv3 li to upgrade it to a vr, its like getting the ipv4 to upgrade it to 4s.

The Sigelei is a better looking, better constructed mod, the nicest design of all the "over-sized two-battery bricks" out there. But the lack of firmware update capability and no direct support for anything but Ni200 coils in TC mode really makes it a one trick pony.

Ugly as the IPV 4S is, at least you can update it.

but the question is, can the ipv4s last? due to the laws in my country, i'll not be bringing any other mod in the near future. the one i'll be getting is gonna stay with me for some time.

if u owned a ipv4s, can u tell me more about the built? is it plastic feeling? does the paint comes off badly? n will the battery cover stayed?

The vr is not an upgrade, it's just a special edition with carbon fiber panels, it's no different than the li.

And newer lis may already come with firmware updated to 200w, depending on the vendor. But if you have a PC it doesn't matter, you can just update it yourself.
