Yes. Get to a doctor asap, you might be bi-polar.
:D

nah, just trapped in the middle of the ocean without ice. Desperate times call for desperate measures. At this point I kinda like any team if it means there is someone to watch. :)

I was shocked last night when I flipped through the online guide saw hockey listed on the regular network channels. For the last 2 years the only way I've been able to watch has been PPV and highlights.

Got the DVR all programmed and beer on the shopping list.

I've never understood how it is that football is so popular here and hockey is so ignored.

congrats invid. i like seeing the hawks good again, just makes hockey better. wish my rangers could build a team like that instead of signing a roster of has-beens!

Jet I will never forget in 94 "The Guarantee" or My favorite player Steve Larmer getting his ring with the Rangers. I just couldn't believe that Glen Sather went and got that idiot Sean Avery back. I think Sather is the problem.

Bigeyes, look into getting the Center Ice package next year. I think its 100 bucks, and you get almost all games for every team for the year including the first 2 rounds of the playoffs.
Is it a one shot deal, or $100 a month? Cable it outrageous here already, about 3 times what I've paid anywhere else.

Game Seven COMIN UP! (ducks/redwings)

Honestly, and this is not just because Anaheim is my team, but I think who ever wins the Ducks/Redwings series is favored to go on to win the cup.

Congrats to Chicago for taking out Vancouver. Man I am so glad the canucks are out, I am NOT a Roberto Luongo fan!

I haven't been able to keep up with the Carolina series but I actually want them to win, only because I know the Ducks could handle them easily. Same with Chicago after we beat the Wings tomorrow.. hehehe...

i played ice hockey as a netminder for 12 years before retiring due to injury. started off in the junior leagues as a kid and moved up thru the ranks to play in the old english 1st division.

hockey dominated my life and i still love it........but since quitting ive never even set foot in a ice rink since :(

my family are also hockey mad.......my dad is a goal judge and my sister is part of the managment team for the Lee Valley Lions.

it was the Lions who i finished my playing days with and they actually folded the following year due to financial reasons......but they reformed a few years ago and are going strong again.

here is a clip of one of the games i played in that was televised..........it was not one of my better games! lol

listen closely to what the commentator is saying! lol

(im the netminder)

One time shot, good for the season. Look at directtv, I pay 109 a month and get everything.
stuck in a contract for 2 more years with dish network. :( argh

I don't think directtv was even an option for us when we moved here, though it may be by the time this stinkin' contract runs out. We're in the boonies. There weren't even phone lines 2 years ago and dish network and satellite internet were our only options at the time. Big sticker shock after paying comcast one fee for phone, cable and internet before. 8-o

So, as you can see, my one little hockey game is cause for celebration after this long drought.:D I'll have to see what dish network has to offer, but I imagine it's like everything else they have...ca-ching. Last year all the hockey I could find was PPV. Ouch.
