Once I got his skate off, I kinda broke the tension by asking if he needed help getting his pants off lol. Got a chuckle out of him. He's tough, he'll be ok.

so my kids play hockey. one of the kids breaks his ankle. the paramedics pull out a big pair of scissors. the mom flies onto the ice......."dont cut my kids new skates! cut the laces off, and pull the tongue"
