Whats up with FLOWER????

8-o First game since leaving for Vancouver and he gets pulled after the 2nd period? 12 shots on net, allowed 4 and stopped 8. What the heck?

Oh for you "non-hockey fans", I'm talking about last nights game between the PENS and RANGERS.

Seriously starting to think that Fleury will be the back-up goalie and Johnson (shut out last night saving the game).. will be the primary.

Thoughts?

Hey, I have to give up to Johnson... Brent's only real losses this year, IIRC, were games the defense didn't play well... he's actually a better, high-pressure goalie than I thought he'd be... but Flower is still the Power, dig it!

I'm just all excited to listen to Lange's play-by-play calling on Saturday... "It's Gologoski to Ponikarovsky, back to Evgeni, to Fedetenko, now Ponikarovsky... Ponikarovsky to Gologoski!"

Gotta love having an all-Sputnik, second line!

Ponikarovsky is a monster. We just saw the tip of the iceburgh I wan't to see him on a line with Staal and Geno. Look out then! And the Flower standing on his head to rob Brad Richards was his confidence booster. He'll likely get the day off tomorrow but who doesn't love Brent Johnson. He's quickly rising on my list of fav recent back-ups (Ty Conklin was my fav before) B-Town is going down
