Let's start with an introduction....I'm an AVID hockey fan and I LOVE the FLYERS....BUT...I love hearing about anything and everything hockey (and watching it too....)

This thread is for ANYTHING hockey....

So...the Flyers....grr....as well as they've been playing...Pronger is out for the year...and who knows when Giroux will be back from his concussion ....who's your team and how are they doing???

I will also accept SYMPATHY from anyone else who lost Fantasy Football in the playoffs this week like I did....well...unless David Akers hits 5+ 50 yard field goals tonight

I must say I'm really enjoying watching the HBO series 24/7....if anyone is interested it's up on youtube....

It's been awesome to see the games...and then watch all of the behind the scenes stuff after the fact....and although I already knew why I love Peter Laviolette....I'm positive now....
I am a little cranky because tickets for the winter classic are 500 a piece...I'd love to be there, but I guess I'll be watching it on TV like most...

Unfortunately in Flyers land...Pronger is out for the year.....but thankfully enough...Giroux is back and in his first game back he hit 1 goal and had 3 assists....back with a vengeance...

NICE LOL!!

I Had some down time in between my team's games last weekend in Athens OH and watched some 12 to 14 yr olds battle. The Athens team captain was a girl, and she was NO JOKE!

A guy hit her in open ice and she made him pay for the rest of the game LOL. Eveery time dude got that puck he was looking over his shoulder for her. She smashed him into the boards right in front of his parents!

Hi Maureen, been a Blackhawks fan ever since i can remember its my favorite sport period. Back in the 60s when the kids in our neighborhood were getting baseball cards at the corner candy store i was getting the hockey cards and still have some today.
Back then you had to put the sets together from the packs and i do have 1 set from 70-71 season complete that i did as a kid.

Your team is doing really well this year.
Mark Jan 5th on your calendar as our 2 teams will play each other !
