My birthday's coming up and my wife wants to get me a new mod. I don't have any adjustable voltage mods yet so I'm in the market. From looking through a mods database I've become intrigued with the Joker AV mod from Vaprlife. I've searched through the reviews section but found nothing on the AV. I am not allowed to post there because of my supplier status so if anyone knows where I can find some honest info on this mod or can suggest a different adjustable that isn't plastic or wood (I kinda want a tube style) please clue me in here. Thanks

Hey Mist just checked out your site. Nice work on the veneers!!!!

Thanks Liv. I hope someone orders another one someday :p
SC, I'm actually leaning towards the smooth aluminum Buzz now. I would like to get it before my B-day (12,11) and the price is better on the Buzz than on the ProVari. The ProVari has more fancy features but the Buzz has a longer track record for a VV.
I still like the sleek look of the Joker but the things I've read have scared me away from Vaprlife. I've only read good things about the Buzz. Hey SC, did you get the full kit with your Buzz? I was wondering what batteries they put in their kits. I have AW 16340s for my GLV but their kit with batts and charger is only $11.00 extra. I'm wwondering if it's a deal.

I hate to sound like a b..t boy for the Buzz but I do like to give credit where credit's due. I've had mine since June and never had a speck of trouble with it and it's the only PV I use. I guess I'm a lite vapor (because of taste) I only take 4 hits every 15 minutes. I bought my batteries (Trustfire 16340 @3.7v) and charger from MadVapes, two sets. I have gotten 24 hours a set since day one.
I admit the little screw thing to change volts on the Buzz is a PITB for an almost blind man. I love the idea for a LCD screen with the ProVairi but I'm not so sure about changing the voltage. I emailed to ask about this and they told me that to go from say 3.8v to 3.7v you would have to drill up through 6v and then it would start over so you could get to 3.7. That seems like alot of button pushing to me. The only reason I'm interested in the Infinity (besides my trust in this company) is the wheel dial for setting voltage. Setting it up or down seems very easy. Hope this helps.

It does indeed SC. Much appreciated. We are different vapers for sure though. I get an even 6 hours out of a pair of 16340s on my GLV at 5 volts so I guess I vape a lot more than you do. A dial would be nice but I tend to stick with the same juice and carto for hours at a time so I don't think a screw adjustment would bother me much.
By the way, if your opinion of the Buzz makes you a b..t boy for them then I guess they have a lot of b..t boys because I'm only finding glowing comments from Buzz owners. Sounds like the one. I'd like to find one of those digital screw- on volt meters though. Don't really want to have to make one.

Most folks do vape more than me. I just find that after 4 hits my nicotine craving is satisfied and the taste of the juice has dropped. Kind of like a cigarette.. the first one was great but if I lit another one too soon it was a waste.
Got my voltmeter at Northern Tool, about $10.00. The adapter comes from Notcigs about $5.00.

Yeah. Thanks for the link Mike but I'm not sure how to use it on the mod. I have a multimeter but it's kinda big to be hooking it up to the Buzz every time I want to adjust it. I met a guy who goes by the name bigblue30 who posted instructions on how to make one. He lives a couple hours away from me but I doubt that he'd build one for me.

Hi yourself CW! I considered the ProVari. Two things caused me to go with the Buzz. The ProVari costs a bit more and it's on pre-order so I wasn't sure how long it would take to get and I wanted to be sure I had it for my birthday. I'm kind of a little kid that way. I actually just ordered the smooth aluminum one. Can't wait to get it. I wonder if I can put a veneer on that puppy :).
