I got my beautiful, and I mean beautiful Black and orange Reo Grand. I originally thought of putting a kick in it when I first bought it. No that I have it I just can't seem to be able to scruff the inside paint to make sure the kick is grounded properly. Yea I know it's on the inside and no on but I wil know but then again I will know. Just courious if any one has kicked their Grand. (I'ts just to beautiful to scratch up at this point. )

I ran my Grand, (same color as yours), with a Kick for a couple of months until the Kick decided to die. Wrap you coils at 1.5 or lower and you'll find that there's really no need for the Kick... get down to around 1 ohm and after 3 or 4 minutes you won't even be able to spell Kick.

Save your money for wick and wire.

I have a kick and I use it with my Grand when I'm at home. But really I've found the biggest advantage is it prevents me from over-discharging the battery.

When I'm going to be out and about for the day, I prefer using an 18650 for the longer battery life. Though I find myself bringing a spare charged 18650 with me anyway, since I can kill one by mid-afternoon if I'm chain vaping.

I bought a Grand off the classifieds that was already sanded down for a Kick. But I think a dremel and a med/fine grind stone would be much faster and precise than trying to sand it by hand.

Occasionally I put a little nolox on the sanded spot to help aid connectivity and reduce oxidation of the bare metal.

I use a kicked grand all day w/1.5ohm dualcoil cartos and after rotating 3 AW IMR 18500 daily for about a year the batteries are just now starting to fade. Meaning now I can just barely make it through waking till the end of my 12h shift (14-16hrs) till a battery swap is needed.

I kicked my grand out of the car once and it went skidding across the driveway :( Barely left a mark on it though :D

Other than that I've never entertained the idea of kicking mine. I like less to go wrong. I good RBA @ 1.2 ohms on an 18650 AW and it couldn't get any better no matter what I put in there.
