Yes sir, hot at the top almost like clock work. If I work out the top I get on at the bottom if I work it out the bottom I get one in the middle if I work out the middle right back to the top lol It seems to be a never ending cycle. I was going to try the washer method but there does not seem to be enough space between the middle and top nut.

Nef, are you oxidizing your mesh before you roll it? juice burns? What's your method? I find that if I am having trouble with a setup, it is most helpful (once I have trouble shooted to the point of frustration) to start again from square one. My advice is start with a square of mesh, roll it up unoxidized, test fit, trim accordingly, unroll, torch it pretty good, roll it up, test fit, torch it , juice burn, wrap coil semi loosely around it, look for hot spots, move coils around unil no hot spots, trim the coil legs, fill up, vape face off! Hope that helps!

I thought I had already replied, sorry. I oxidize before rolling. I fold the edges to keep fray down. I create a liquid burn at least three times. I using the Q tip method given to me by a member on here which has helped a lot but still fight with the top coil hotspot. I'm thinking the wraps might be too tight at this point.

Hey Nef,
We do have vape meets and things in our part of Florida here around Pensacola that wouldn't be to far for you. Our next one is planned for the 20th of April and we are going to do like a BBQ style get together at the park by the water. If your interested check out our thread in the Florida Vapers section here. Also here is a link to a good video showing the PetarK method (drill bit method) for wicking/coil hotspot problems etc. Hope it helps. Here is the link, click here. Let me know if your interested in our Vape meet. The last ones we did were in Pensacola, this one will be probably in Milton by the water. Take care and hope you get your coils working good...... :)

Well we have only had one meet that we setup and one by a vendor in Pensacola, but probably around 20-30 people so far. Just started so pretty good turnout for just getting going. We will hopefully have more of a turnout for our next few. SammyT made it over for our first one, was alot of fun. :) This next one is just going to be just a get together/bbq etc. Should be fun...

it was a very nice meet, Thank y'all for the hospitality. Nef, have you tried the cig paper method? that helped me eliminate hotspots. In my experience with genesis atties, you just have to practice. keep building coils, trying different methods and find your way. The methods are similar but it seems like everyone has their own hodge podge of tricks learned coming all together to FINALLY, WORK!!! lol. it is frustrating.
