My wife uses a provari/nautilus mini setup which I have to admit is pretty good. It's not at the level of a reo, but I could certainly live with it should the unthinkable happen and all the reos in the world suddenly melt into ingots of slag.

For her, the vape balance is tilted in favour of convenience and lack of maintenance, which hers delivers on with pretty good performance. Mine tilts towards performance, durability, and simplicity (while being the most convenient RDA system I've found - YMMV).

Soooo... nope, wouldn't switch, but acknowledge that tanks and APV's have come a long way and can deliver some very good results these days.

Used an rba once. Probably never will again. See them often at vape shops. My setup died and was in friends car. Used his gigantic rba (gigantic as in probably 22mm) for a few hours. Wasn't my thing. I can't imagine spending time wicking and modding..... Not a hobby for me, hopefully a means to an end some day. I use ts3 or vision/aspire bdc variants, or smaller.... whatever suits my mood, usually on an ego or similar. I own bigger stuff, but I use what I find works well out of box. Usually gets relegated to the emergency drawer when things start acting wonky nAerotank, mini nautilus, etc etc leaked too often and we're too finicky for me. Trying to cut down on vaping and quit it some day also.

I'm curious if anyone here has switched BACK to clearos after using RBAs/RDAs?

I've been using Kayfuns and RDAs exclusively for the past 4-5 months, but recently I've been thinking about switching back to a simple setup.

If so, what clearo are you using? Nautilus? Pro tanks?

I wouldn't say I've "gone back," but I do still use mini Protank IIs for juices that I don't want to vape a lot of; to me the small tank is a real plus in some cases. Of course those Mini PT II's have been rebuilt, they're not using "stock" coils or wick. I also sometimes use cartos on their own, no tank, for the same reason -- something I'm not too sure yet if I like it or not, or just don't want to use a lot of it, for whatever reason. I love the convenience of cartos! Now that I've found a couple of great sources with excellent prices on them, I don't even mind the expense.

I actually never stopped using them or my cigalikes, for that matter
Depends on what activity I'm doing.

I know my Evods (or whatever) aren't going to perform like my more powerful gear and I'm cool with that cuz it's better than the alternative.
And would I sure rather lose one of them while out hiking in the woods then one of my more expensive mods.

My Sigelei with a Kayfun is just too honking big to carry around when I'm out running around in shorts during the summer.
But now that I think about it, I get more "digits" when I do.......

Nope! RBA's are only a tinkering/hobby thing if you want them to be. Personally it takes me about 1 minute tops to pull a new piece of cotton through the coil one time a week, and about once every 2 months it takes me about 3 minutes to wrap a new coil. Both of those are including the time to disassemble and reassemble.

No muss, no fuss, excellent output.

I have a Nautilus Mini that I use for juices I just want a taste of. The rest of my arsenal consists of 4 Kayfun Lites...I probably will never go back to clearos...the Kayfuns have spoiled me not just with their performance but also how cheap it is to build.

And for maintance all I have to do is rewick once a week and I usually rebuild once a month or so.

I do it all. Aerotanks and the Nautilus Mini in the clearo department, carto tanks and even simple 510 cartos, drippers and Kayfuns. It's nice to have a wide variety so I have something for every situation. Plus sometimes I'm lazy and I don't want to rebuild anything. Some days I want to spend hours rebuilding. Some days I just want to toot on a tasty saturated carto all day.

Every Saturday my Russian and (recently purchased) Vulcan get completely disassebled, cleaned, and a fresh rebuild. During this time I'll pull out my old Protank III/MVP 2 and vape on it. I also plug my phone up to charge on it so I can completely discharge the battery that day. Then when I'm done with the first two and the MVP is completely dead, it gets put back on charge, the protank gets topped off and put back in my zombie bug out bag lol.
