Have two Reo Grands that I use on the daily. All my other mods (mechs, VV/VW devices, drippers, KFL, and clero tanks) are just collecting dust in cabinet. I actually plan on cleaning the cabinet out this weekend and getting rid of all the other mods.

I have a lot to clean out as well... from Kanger T2s, Protanks, AGA-T2's, RSST's, SS Mesh, Silica wick, Ekowool, and etc. It's all going. Since I already have a Vamo and and 2 Joyetech ego-C Twists 1000mah, I'll keep them along with my IGO-L drippers...and will use them.

I've own 7 since my first order in June - I had to try out different ones to see which I liked best (Grand vs Reo) but when I got Gloss - my TRA Mini and polished her up - I found my love. She is simple elegance. I lucked in to a Black Anodized Mini blem and she is my jwrap gypsy - always changing depending on my mood. So I have 2 - I could never only have one ><

Seven?? Suddenly I don't feel like I robbed you of that stunning white LP/SL. I am kicking myself for not getting the red afc cap though. I've now decided I have to have one! I ordered a couple of new tips which should be here tomorrow so I will fire her up for the first time finally. I just have to figure out how to keep her under my husband's radar for 2 more weeks. He still doesn't know about her. I'm a bad wife with a REO addiction. I need help.

I got my first LP Grand and RM4 ten days ago. Had it up and running in about five minutes and proclaimed to self, "this is a game changer!" Went back to Rob's site before the end of that game changing day and ordered a 2.1 LP.
I didn't have any button top 18650's and ran my flat tops in the new Grand. Later noticed the arching some have posted about before, vape quality and battery life started going south. No chance in hell of getting a AW button here in BFE, plus it was after hours for all retailers. Next day, did the 55 minute commute one way and got the recommended batteries from my favorite B&M. I really can't describe the look on the store owners face when he saw the REO, but something along the lines of oh no covers it fairly well. "Game changer", I told him, a half hearted "I know" was the reply. We had history, a few Bay City mods, a Penny, Vanilla, Cronus, half dozen or so attys.
Unfortunately, the button top didn't cure the Grand's ills. Still had problems and the old battery shift, that I had read about in some other post had joined the woes. A quick email to Rob and an equally quick "send it back" reply had me at ease. The 2.1 arrived and has been just flawless processing upwards of 18mls of .6 nic per day.
New problem; I can't quite bring myself to send the Grand back for repair. After all, if I use it with the door off and hold the battery in place, it will work for awhile. How can I possibly send it back with the just the 2.1 to hold down the fort until its return? Solution? Order number 3. I am not a man of means. I am the proverbial champagne taste, beer budget guy. Excessive compulsive with five high-end mods sitting on the shelf. As I look at them I often think they are giving me the old one finger salute. Maybe its just the way they are lined up.
No its not excessive compulsive. No more sticky fingers, no more hoping for red lights, nobody honking at the stop sign while I drip, no more state troopers asking if everything is okay when I pull off on the shoulder to drip. Juice consumption down by a third. You all know the pros, no need to preach to the choir. I think of owning more than one REO more analogous to the hooping and hollering at the end of the rock concert, the flowers on the stage for the prima ballerina, the bravos at the end of the symphony. Well done Robert, please let me applaud you with another order to show my appreciation and support. In the meantime, (this is not a sale ad) I have some nice tube mods for sale and if you could Rob, please get on with the next release of the Woodville (burl please); before one of those European vendors reply in the affirmative on availability. Maybe I am just a tad excessive compulsive. Anyone want to sell there place in line with pdib?
Cheers, of course.

One VV Grand, one Grand and one Woodvill. Working on the mini for a complete set. Of course, when the next Woodvill sale comes around, I'll have to have another one of those. Then I'll be back to an odd number, which just doesn't feel right, so I'll have to get another one. Then I'll have to keep going until I have two of everything because OCD is a b&*%#. By that time, it will probably be time for another Woodvill sale ... yeah, I may need an intervention at some point.

button-tops were better in the older reos, since that is what Robert designed the Reo to use.

since the new contacts, it is a moot point. Robert has even stated that the new contacts work fine with flattops.

if your spring (and firing pin) is gold, you have new contacts. the old spring is silver color.

flattops will work on old contacts, but you just may need to file/apply noalox on the firing pin a bit more often.

if you have new contacts, then do NOT file the firing pin. although noalox or deoxit might help, especially if you subohm
