Dallas area Longhorn here, but I was SO rooting for the Aggies against Alabama. Good game, though.
Earned my Master's from A&M in 2001 and went back to teach there for a year in 2008. It was nice to see the revival of downtown Bryan which, in '99, looked like Beirut or something.
I drive through there frequently, and used to spend a great deal of time at a yard there for the last company. D_mn. Now I'm thinking about the cobbler at Sodalaks.
College Station is nice, but the driving is a little "iffy" during the school year.

I moved here from southeast ohio ( Rutland,Oh. a little town near the ohio river ) in 2003, we love it here I really wish I had come sooner, the people are super friendly and the town has almost every thing I ever need. (except kanthal a1 wire and more brick and mortar stores )
Aggieland vapors ( our only real brick and mortar ) has some kanthal ordered but none as of last friday. I really want to make a microcoil for my evod with a cotton wick and I'm not a big fan of ordering online,when I want something I want it now, not in a few days or more.

I live and work in College Station. Have you been out to the other b&m, Vapegeek? Christina is extremely knowledgeable and carries a huge array of entry level and more advanced cape gear... She has rebuildables and I'm pretty sure she keeps kanthal and wicking in Stock...

Yea she is pretty awesome... She has a pretty sweet store set up now attached to her house out on Nunn Jones Rd.

Yeah last time I was out there was close to a year ago,I started using the ego but wasn't really ready to give up the stinkies, I found out at the end of july that I have heart disease, and haven't had a analog since Aug 7th.
I had the good fortune of visiting College Station last weekend for the game. I was the guest of a colleague of mine who's an Aggie grad and season ticket holder.

The BBQ is outstanding in that part of the world, too. If I'd had my way, we'd have had BBQ for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. But SWMBO insisted on breakfast being "healthy."
