If it goes for $128 it's over priced. However, if it sells for around $75 and early reviews are good this pv will sell very, very well.

It sounds like they are trying to sell it for that much..I'm sure in part to recover there initial design and production costs. If it sells I bet in a few months you will see it under $100 and probably eventually under $60.

What exples are you looking at for that information? Would be cool. I am interested.

what i dont understand is why are they setting it at such a high price? wholesale costs seems to be $40-$50 a piece with a 50pc min...

If that's true I'm sure they will be selling in no time for $80. I'm sure that wholesale cost will drop if they sell too. Is that a kit of just device?

Hey Chrispy! From my understanding it has both attributes of the Provari and the Buzz Pro, with a 5 amp switch! That mod is going to be of the hook! Opinionated reviews say the most powerful VV mod to be out on the market! We will see though! :D

Really I probably wouldn't have a use for 5amp's..I think for people who like dual coils and low resistance coils it would be nice. I don't buy into the DC's though as I feel the only real advantage to them is they might deliver juice better to the coils for less change of a coil drying out. You can only inhale so much vapor and single coils working correctly put out tons of it...

That is true, that's why I use single coil cartomizers in my tank! Have you tried the Smok Tech single coil 510 XXL cartos? Now those are freakin' AWESOME!

I dunno at $128 ... I am starting to look at other models other than smoktech. I agree with others. I want to let the herd tell me about it. At that price point i would have to say I am mixed. It is tough to decide from a pic. What has me concerned is that from what we know currently it is a metal tube mod "painted" in black or silver. Painted? Really? I dunno maybe I am being overly cautious but this product has me wondering about Quality. Is painted steel? Painted aluminum? Is it the fit and finish of the bolt?

I dunno suspect to me, I will wait til Phil has a shot at it.

On a further note, Anyone here agree that with current carto/atty offerings there isnt a need for anything pushing more power that a provari v2 or a buzz pro anyway ? I mean If they wanted something better for vaping why not reinvent a better juice delivery system built into a mod. With current atty and cartos throwing more power at a smoktech or a boge carto is completely unecessary. Burning my LR carto at 6v 5a still produces the same crap taste and short life that burning a LR carto at 6v 3a does. Now offer a device that puts out 6v 5a with a micro diaphragm pump and vaporizer tube capable of billowing vapor might be interesting. To me it is a bit like offering a v12 to a ford fiesta stuck in traffic. Sure it can go faster if given the opportunity but currently we cant jump past the hurdle in front of us. Does not make sense to upgrade over 2a if there is no logical next step.

No I found I don't like poly-fill cartos and I use XL 2.5ohm CE2's mostly in SmokTech tanks. I've been using CE2's since last summer they take a bit of fiddling sometimes but they last and last..plus I can rebuild them easily...

sommeone should see if smoktech would allow a coop for it.

If the users here like it it could help them out :)

I emailed my sales rep contact there and am going to try to see if they will allow me to do a small coop of 10 to 20 people.

If they are, I will post the price here and see if there is interest.

See the link I provided in post #17. This is a pre-order. They don't have it in stock yet.

I could only understand a little of the German spoken in the video. He seemed to like it a lot, calling it a "beautiful machine." However, just watching him operate the Vmax tells a lot. VMax seems to operate very well. No comparisons with outboard meters like Pbusardo, but this is a vendor selling his wares and not a review.
