I purchased a 3.5 ohm DC atty, and I primed it up with about 10 drops, as the recommended ammount seemed alittle much. I fired it up and it was alright. Nothing spectacular, since it hadnt broken in yet. After no more than 4 draws, the Darwin didnt fire it. It gave me a wierd symbol that i never saw before. So I unscrewed the atomizer, dripped a couple more drops in it, and fired it up, but I wanted to see what was going on in there, so I take off the drip tip, and fired it up, the top coil glowed bright red then popped(imagine if I had that in my mouth I would have been scared lol).
I quickly told Bruce about what happened, and he was very kind and quick about it, and he sent me a replacement no charge. I got it in the mail, filled it up with 12 drops this time, and fired it up. The top coil doesnt even fire up.
The Ohms that the Darwin detects is 6.9-7.1, but I get a strange taste from the one thats top coil doesnt fire, and an extreme brunt taste from the one thats top coil popped(obviously)
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. As I highly doubt basically 2 DOA attys were sent in a row.
