I'm currently using a KGO, which I think is 1100mah, and 3.7v. It'd be nice to have a passthru to keep at work so I can vape from one of the many PC's in my office without killing power from my KGO. I've found a few here and there online, but run into some reviews saying they didn't last long, etc. If it has a detachable battery, that's a plus, but not required. I would prefer to stay at 3.7v at the least and have a 510 connection to utilize my current tanks and cartos. I thought I had read a while back that someone was making a passthru KGO version sometime, but I don't guess it happened. Any input is appreciated!

I had a smoktek that was15 bucks but died in two weeks.

I have one on my inferno bat and it works great just plugs in and out of the bottom.

I bought a generic ego bat w passthrough and plugged it in and didn't work I thought I heard a rice crispy sound and it was fried. So I smelled it smelled fried. The battery still charges from the top and works fine though lol

Sorry not much help but they are great when they work. Madvapes has a sturdier one for $39 I think but I've never tried it.

Passthroughs can be good in a pinch but you're better off going with a setup where you don't have to bother vaping wired, meaning something you can charge when you're sleeping or just swap out batteries when needed. I don't recall ever needing to vape wired even when I had the simplest of gear. There are just so many better solutions.

The only problem I had was with the threads but they are getting better as it breaks in. Much better fit after a few weeks of use.

I'm waiting for my passthrough I bought at discountvapors to arrive. It is the vv at 4 volt settings (3.2v-4.7v). So why are they always cheaply made? Is it because the constant manipulation of the cord causes it to eventually lose connection?

You might have to wait a bit for the latest version of Joye eGo passthrough batts to show up at vendors here, but HC has them now...they switch between the regulated 3.4 v mode and unregulated battery voltage mode which would put out the 3.7 you're seeking.

I was very interested in these- the ego UPGRADE- and I've been waiting for some feedback/reviews. I was hoping they'd be at 4.2 when used in PT mode, like a battery on a charger- but you're probably right that it's 3.7. Well, at least it has safety features that the regular Joye ego PT doesn't, and it'll hit better- like a Riva or KGO.

It seems suppliers are quite willing to substitute their whole ego line with these now.
