If vaping gets expensive like everything else. I'm gonna stuff my atties with pipe tobacco.

Try macerating some 10g of Stanwell Melange in 100ml of 100% PG. Strain and filter till clear and add juice & nic to your preferred proportions. Steep a couple of weeks. If you don't like it, send me the remaining tobacco and I'll pay for it. ;)

PS, doing an initial heat maceration helps speed the process, cold maceration is slow but flavor is more delicate. I like both.

Right now nope..I am happy with having just the nicotine, but I keep stepping it down gradually but I bought these 16 102ml bottles of juice from one place and 50ml bottles from another so I have to work my way through all of those before I can step it down again, and I just became a reviewer for a company and get sent all this free juice and mods and stuff like that and if anyone is interested in becoming a reviewer contact me via PM and I will give you the details. Sorry to hijack the thread there a second but when you have 14 juice companies sending you 2-5 juices to try at 12mg nicotine I don't see myself stepping down anytime soon! :(

When I started out, I would have said I would never stop vaping. I was really into the novelty, the "fiddley" side of vaping and the realization that I was no longer a smoker. But after 4 years, I think I would like to get away from having to charge batteries, mess with different delivery systems, blend juice and making sure I have everything I need before I leave the house. I want to simplify my life and vaping takes more effort than smoking. Not going back to cigarettes but would like to wean off vaping sometime soon.

I'd like to say I will quit Nicotine altogether. I don't know if that will happen though. I told myself when I started vaping I'll vape for a year and gradually step down until no nicotine whatsoever. I've already gone from 18mg down to 12mg and I'm not vaping like a fiend like I did when I first started. That's progress I guess. I figure as long as I'm not sucking down a pack and a half of Camel Wides a day I figure I'm all good.

I fully intend to "quit" nicotine when I no longer "want" nicotine

The cool thing with vaping, for me, is I don't feel like a slave to Nicotine like I used to as a smoker.

One day, maybe I'll wake up and think "no more" but I'm not overly stressed if that day doesn't come to be fair.

I can vape 0% nic and be fine, I often do.

Vape, no vape, whatever - as long as there are ZERO ciggies involved it's all win win in my eyes :D

My intention is to eventually cut out the nicotine, and eventually vaping as well. For me smoking has been a habit as well as an addiction to nicotine - probably the same for most people. I expect I will be vaping for a year or more, but I'm not going to stress about it - the important thing is I am off the cigarettes.

Just wondering. I know vaping is much healthier than combusted tobacco, and has allowed me to get off the cigs. But I also know that the healthiest thing would be to quit altogether. So, just curious. Anybody have plans to stop nicotine altogether?

If you think that would be the healthiest thing for you be my guest. I enjoy vaping and see no reason to give it up. It's a quality of life issue with me, and in the end no one gets out of here alive anyway.

At this time..........no. Like someone said earlier I will never say never. I didn't think I would ever stop smoking and wow, I have. I am trying to get lower on the nic but if not? No biggie. My biggest fear at the moment is someone else (read FDA) making that choice for me.

Another factor for me is that hand to mouth habit that I had lovingly created over three decades. What do I do with my hands if I didn't have vaping? How does a person just sit there with their hands in their laps? I constantly have to fiddle with something! LOL

My plan to quit smoking with e-cigs quickly turned into a plan to become as knowledgable and crafty about vaping as a could and now I feel as though I've put too much time and money into it to just stop. I think that I'll start to wean myself off of nicotine by the end of the year and just vape 0 nic until this whole thing starts to get boring for me. I'm really scared that it won't though, lol.
