I have a really basic question here about batteries that are being bashed all over the internet and forums everywhere and I am not saying none of it is true but I would like some basic proof...

MXJO yellow 35 amp 2500 mah

Efest purple 35 amp 2500 mah

Imren green 38 amp 2600 mah

I know all the trash talk that goes on about improperly claimed amp limits and being rewrapped, I am not looking for that stuff with this question, what I am looking for is some one to give me a link or actual proof of these claims, I use every single one of these in super low sub ohm builds and no I am not going into detail about the numbers I will go down to as I have discovered not everyone agrees with my methods and that is not the point of this question, I am not looking for an argument of the safety of my builds but rather a very simple question of...Does anyone have any proof???? Pics??? Supporting documentation???? Any proof???

someone posted the graph of the imren the other day. And really you need proof ?? How about logic instead. Do you really think some no name company is going to design and manufacture a cell that can beat a company like sony? Just use your brain.

ShenZhen Fest Technology Co., Is the maker of Efest batt's and also the god mod too. They are a multi million dollar company. I would hardly call them "no name"

And still do you think they are going to engineer a cell that will top a brand like Sony?

If your looking for proof to discredit the amp ratings you obviously don't have any proof to confirm these ratings. Super sub-ohm with out confirmation of the safety is just Russian Roulette.

And how do I come up with proof do you suggest? mountains of digging seem to only find people like you simply putting them down and I am so sick of hearing how dangerous sub ohming is, I have been doing it for two years without dying, does that mean I just have two complete years of amazing luck? lol I have proof that they support my builds just fine and looking for some solid evidence that they are such horrible batteries I would explode every time I use them as people suggest, I was asking for proof not commentary but thanks for stopping by, much appreciated.

Thank you for at least coming at me with a pic but my question to the pic is, if that is what they actually are, why should I not sub ohm when this is the exact battery suggested as "one of the greats" I just do not get it

Yup, just peal the pretty wrapper of one of them and see whats really there. They are 20 amp batteries.

Good batteries, just not 35 amp.

Do not want to ruin a perfectly good cell on a unwrap, call me selfish but everyone else claims they are rewraps with no pics or proof and I just wanna see it as someone already did to show a vtc4 but no LG or others people are claiming

I do use my brain and tested them systematically lower and lower and longer and longer with absolutely no problems, I do not think it is appropriate to imply I do not use my brain when I am on here looking for proof that says other than what I have found, am I incorrect, if you will notice above I asked for proof and not commentary but thank you so much for stopping by today, you know what they say about opinions.

If you would do your research vtc has been out of production for over 3 years and were not even designed for the application we use them for, in fact any "new" ones you have received anytime after sony stopped production were made by subcontractors or from companies that had overstock of the original and none are actually manufactured by sony that we use, lap top batteries and the like were all they were not 18650 sub ohm genius

I think you are taking things a bit out of context. Most of us do not claim they are horrible batteries. But we do however state the FACT that they are 20 amp rated batteries and not 35 or 40 amp rated as claimed.

I've seen things like you show in your pics before, but I still know nothing -- what does that hodgepodge of numbers actually MEAN? It just looks like a random conglomeration of numbers to me.

It's the product code for VTC4 batteries. Except on the left, it comes from the usual green Sony wrapping, on the right, from the purple EFEST. Basically showing that batteries are like chocolate, once you unwrap them, you never know what your gonna get! :D
