Any recipe sites that break down based on my flavors?

I've been using the site for my juice a couple weeks now, and even though I only have a handful of my favorite recipes loaded so far, I've found it very useful. Of course I am biased, but having a link to the e-juice calculator that auto-populates with the recipe has proven very convenient for me. Anyone else try it out yet?

I've been kind of busy lately so I'm just waiting for people to start contributing recipes and using the site a bit. The to-do list has shrunk considerably so once we start getting some use out of the site I'm sure I'll breeze through it. A number of people have signed up, just haven't started adding anything yet. You could be the first :)

Just signed up and added one very simple recipe. I found it online and it is tried and true. A lot of the recipes I make use Juicy Vapor extracts so I can't add them to the database. Great work on the site!

Thanks for the feedback. The flavor box is an auto-fill that allows new values. So if the flavor is not there for you, once added it'll be available for the next person. The flavor vendor is a drop-down list so I'll need to add any vendors I missed. I'm not familiar with Juicy Vapor, do they make and sell their own flavorings?

Also, when adding a new flavor the author can give the recipe an initial rating. This helps with other users expectations of the recipe and places the contributor on the 'Top Contributors' page.

Juicy Vapor is an online and brick and mortar with shops outside of Buffalo, NY and a shop in Illinois. They have over 1000 flavors of ejuice and also sell 200+ flavor concentrates. I assume the concentrates are bought in bulk from the places most DIY'ers buy from and just relabel them as their own. So far they have been tight lipped about this.

Wow, I'm surprised I never heard of that place. I'll definitely have to check it out next time I'm out that way. I live in Depew so it's not far.

I added Juicy Vapor to the recipe drop down. Once a recipe is created it should auto populate on the search page. I also changed the Top Contributors page to display the number of submitted recipes and users who have not yet received a review. If you go to a user profile there is a tab that displays all their submitted recipes. The idea is that if you find a user that has similar tastes you may want to try some of their other recipes.

Brief update, we've got a 'search by my ingredients' setup now... There aren't many recipes worth making in there yet, but we've answered the OPs question anyway. diyRecipeBook You can even have more than one nic base in your inventory and choose it when you're mixing a batch :)
There's still some more 'basic' features that I need to finish up, but if you enter your inventory it'll show you what you can make, or at least how close you are to being able to make it. We don't yet look at ingredients across flavor lines... i.e. Strawberry from Loran (LO) doesn't match Strawberry from TFA, but we'll add that in eventually.

Also... still haven't worked out a comment system or feedback system... Shoot me a PM here if you have problems or even just questions. Feel free to make suggestions in this thread. The two of us that have built this thing are programmers, not users so things that may be obvious to us could easily be non-intuitive for end users :)

If you don't want to try without creating an account, I have a demo account where you can test the site out as a user... The username is demo@diyrecipebook.com, password demo.

I just finished making updates to the eJuice Calculator on the site. It now has the ability to use a non-pure PG base (i.e. VG base or premixed ratio) and VG based flavorings. I used Scubabatdan's eJuice_Calculatorv13 to verify pure VG, PG, and zero nicotine recipes. Everything matches up correctly, but, unfortunately I am unable to use it to test pre-mixed bases such as an 80/20 mix. If anyone has a tool or recipe they could use to double check that for me it would be appreciated.

The to-do list is getting pretty short. Please check out the site and begin adding your favorite recipes! :)

fyi I stopped by Juicy Vapor last night. Picked up some flavoring and some pre-made Snickerdoodle to try out. After 3.5y of vaping it's nice to see a local place selling that much gear and juice! I don't have any intention of discontinuing making my own, but it'll be nice to pick one up from time-to-time. Being able to pick up flavoring or 18500s for my ProVari locally is a huge bonus.

Added a few new features and tweaks, including my flavor adjusting slider that proportionaly increases or decreases all flavors so you can mix a recipe at your preferred total flavoring level instead of just what how the creator set it up. I've also started adding some recipes from around the web and have a way to link back to the source so whoever puts the recipe in doesn't have to feel like they're stealing it. I also added A way for people to link to recipes so you can create a recipe there and link to it from ECF or wherever.
Overall, the Site could still use some edges cleaned up and some documentation, but its getting to be pretty awesome, comments system coming soon.

Example link to one of my recipes
diyRecipeBook

Also, try it in android or iOS... works pretty damn well from chrome on my android 4.0 phone. Bootstrap is a neat framework.
