Are there any runners on these forums? I love running and participate in local races. Back when I smoked (unfiltered luckies no less) I'd run a race then light up to relax right after-- you should have seen the nasty looks I'd get for that. I had a few folks ask me why I bothered to run if I was going to smoke... the logic there never quite added up for me.

I ended up quitting though since smoking was holding back my running, and other reasons.

Anyway vaping has no impact on my running, that really makes me happy. I'm a bit older and not wanting attention so I think I'll avoid vaping right after my races, but it is a nice way to relax post-run.

I am a runner. I run approximately 4-5 miles every other day. I prefer running to strength training because I feel better at the end of a run. When I smoked analogs I averaged approximately 2 miles before exhaustion got the better of me.
Since I started vaping I feel more energetic and my stamina, distance completed and run times are much better. During the summer I would go for 10 mile jogs; this is something I would have never been able to accomplish when I smoked analogs. As I write this I feel proud. I believe deep down that I have made a positive change when I switched to vaping only. Right now all I can think about is how much better things will be when I am down to no nic.
Lastly, I am still skeptical. In the end were all guinea pigs. Vaping could be a placebo effect for all we know and where actually doing more harm than good to our bodies. I am all for more testing!
