Yes that applies to most of us in here but many GG buyers aren't as obsessed as us. I've recommended gg devices to many newly converted vapers. Having 1 battery option only would not be ideal to say the least

Very narrow minded thinking

Just to let you know it's not being narrow minded, it's experience

Well I guess I'm narrow minded too just like Dspin

Call it whatever you want.

The paradox of choice has often been debated, wherein the argument is that too many alternatives can be a bad thing. But one thing is certain and can be seen throughout history, that having a single path to house from is wrong in most cases

It's obivevios not all on the same camp on this do to
Diffrent expirence with the batteries,as there are more then one EFest's availble
Today then was in the past, and what was is the past is not what is in the present.
Two years in the vaping arena is a lot of time and all astablish brands, keep learn and
Make improvement to there devices.
I think we do agree that it's best to have the option availble if it can be done.
I would not grave if only the AW will fit as it's a good battery, and with some electronic boost
going there it will not be a problem at all.
But I sure would prefer to have the capability to use what brand of battery that I choose.

Your generalizations sound very impressive however we're talking about 14500 batteries and the BEST are AW's hands down. You can say whatever you like but the efest's I bought are still in the trash and my 9 month old AW's are still going strong

I think you missed my post further up. From my experience AWs are far superior as well but this doesn't mean it will stay this way.

of course AW will fit Dave. I was wondering about length of proteus just to fit efest too, not to fit only efest.
Glad you think I am narrow minded - I stand on PRINCIPLE here on top of battery performance - Imeo said when Proteus announced - AW IMR would be used. You dont change horses in middle of stream, you dont change batts when hundreds have been bought.

On above quoted post - Imeo talks of making Proteus 1mm longer for Efest - He didnt say anything about both batteries fitting.

Now if AW's arent going to fit - then I am against it.

On the topic of batteries I'd like to point out that all the batteries you're storing (e.g. your 14500 waiting for Proteus) should be kept at approximately 40% charge. You'll see a significant drop if you keep them at 100% unused for 3 months than if at 40%.

I keep them at that charge and inside the fridge (in a special plastic box - sealed) :)
