Just wondered if anyone had any info or threads or anything about this. Seems like it would be totally fine, but I would like to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this anyway

Don't they sell vaporizers to use in the room with little kids? I know we had one when I was a kid and I use to stick my face right up by the clouds of vapor because I loved the smell of vics. If little kids don't die from tanks full of tap water then I doubt distilled water vapor will harm anyone.
Jacuzzi, sauna, hot shower, nebulizing constantly when I had asthma ( O.25 percent albuterol in water solution), living in a place that has 100 percent humidity comes to mind... so, no.

You go girl! Vaping for four years and you haven't drowned yet![]()
Huh? Neti pots are those things that look like mini watering pots. You fill them with a saline solution, tilt your head to the side, and pour the saline through your sinuses to clear them out. They are the best thing ever for colds and sinus infections. I used to neti occasionally when I smoked they really were great for clearing out the sinuses. And yes, if you are not using warm, distilled water in a pot that has been properly sterilized, then you certainly do run the risk of pumping nasty bacteria into your sinuses, but I believe the person above you was probably referring to one of these:Neti Pots. I heard of people having issues with bacteria with those.
Hehe yup, and I haven't had to use my nebulizer for a long time. I used to have to nebulize at least 3 times a day... but now it just collects dust![]()

I do hear you on concerns of the water going bad though. But plenty of people seem to add distilled water to their high to max VG juices with no apparent issues. Inhalation of the water vapor is not really an issue, though I supposed that the small amount tainted water in your delivery system could get bacteria onto your lips which could theoretically make you sick. I can't see vaping it being much of an issue since the heat would likely eradicate anything that could make you sick. Attys may not get hot enough to boil water, but it's probably at least hot enough to weaken or kill most harmful bacteria. Based on that assumption, I don't think inhalation would be the issue, but rather a tainted mouthpiece that would be most likely to cause problems. It would have to be the juice sitting in the atty spreading bacteria throughout the device.
Vaping distilled water isn't going to cause any harm to your lungs. The moisture in the air you breathe every day probably leads to more water accumulating in your lungs than vaping and it's also much more contaminated than the water in your juice would ever be before it became too nasty to vape. Your lungs are plenty well equipped to drain the excess out.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm just considering possibilities.
