Ok, vaping has been a great and interesting journey for me so far. Got the 510 kit, now more juices to try, a PCC, another spare battery and atomizer plus 10 more empty carts.

Read up on a lot of cart mods and tried a few of them, like using only 1/4 of the poly, ADM, ZFM. Now I'm trying the Blue Foam Filter mod which btw has been working great. The flavor and vapor are amazingly consistent. Have yet to try the Brass Screen mod.

I was starting to get annoyed with messing with cartridges that I thought of totally switching to EGO-T but then it also has its own set of annoyances {well at least some say}. So I found GotVapes' SmartCart while doing research.

Anyone has good enough experiences with these that they can share? I believe the concept is similar to EGO-T and would be nice to have on the 510.

I would say though, the mods, juices and all the little things, make vaping very interesting for me.

i got the smartcarts after i got tired of fooling with the ego tank. after some tweaking i think they are almost as good as tank without the hassle. i ripped out the foam and replaced with ptb and that seems to work well. took some tweaking to cut and fit the right amount in the cart but overall i can say im semi-pleased with them. too much hassle with the tank for me.

I don't use a syringe. I just take the filler out, fill with the dropper bottle and put the filling back in. The filler in the SmartCart 2.0's (from gotvapes) isn't glued in so it is easy to take out and put back in. They are very nice to have. I've not modded mine with the blue foam or anything like that, the filler has been fine for me. You can use about half the filler that they come with though or tweek it to how you like it. I don't have blue foam anymore or i would try it but it works great for me just being stock.

Thanks again. I'm going to order it today but I have one last question.

Glad to hear there's a way to fill it without using a syringe. Seems like the new ones make removing the filler easier compared to v1.0. I have tons of blue foam so may have to experiment with it.

How much taller or longer is the SmartCart compared to a stock 510 cartridge? Wanna make sure it fits in the PCC.

I got some smart carts 2.0 in last week. I've had no leaking issues at all with the stock filler and it seems to wick well. The stock filler is dense and I couldn't get a blunt tip needle through it so you will need a sharp pointed needle to fill unless you remove the filler which is easy, then fill the tank, replace the filler then top it off.

I'll be trying fluval when it comes time to replace the stock filler as I have a large supply, it should work fine, no reason for it not to but I'll report back then.

One thing I initially noticed is the cart fit extremely tight in my atomizers. After saying a few choice four letter words I thought I was going to have to get the pliers to pull it out but it finally came. It seems to have loosened up after a few fills and easier now.

I'm really liking them, they use just enough filler to wick and keep it from leaking. I can see the juice level even in a Riva with the cone on and they hold as much liquid as a standard carto. I'll be picking up more of these.

Without getting a ruler out and measuring they look to add about 3/4" to 1" over a standard cart and atomizer. Not sure about them fitting a PCC, never used one.

I'm using SmartCarts on my Ego, with the 510 atomizer,.....so much better. Got them yesterday from GotVapes, and they also sent me a lil pipette and a small piece of Blue foam filter. I took the white filler out and put in a piece of the blue, and it's perfect. I love being able to see how much juice I have left. : ) No leaks, yet.

The best I've found so far (EGO-T works great out of box but AFTER a few days NO GOOD) is a ROUND empty cart with the straw mod and just the right size piece of blue foam for all day trouble free vaping. But I ordered 2 packs of SmartCarts yesterday (from GotVapes - GotVapes SmartCart 2.0 - .9ml ClearTube Cart for 510 Atomizers [gotvapes-510smartcart1ml] - $4.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more ) which I'll try with the blue foam as well. Looks good because of the new ridge inside the SmartCart which looks like it will support the blue foam without the need for straws inside. But I can't wait till someone develops a tank type system like the EGO-T or incorporating something like the ZFM mod that WORKS reliably that you can buy from a vendor without making modifications. It just blows my mind that there is not a stock E-Cigarette System of any type straight from a supplier that vapes day after day reliably without the need for mods! For instance with even these SmartCarts everyone agrees that you must mod the stock filler before it works well! Can't some company/supplier incorporate a mod that WORKS into their kits, carts or atomizers so that all of us can vape reliably with what we purchase without making modifications! If anyone knows anything I can buy that fits that bill I sure would like to know about it!
