the first week everything ran smoothly, this week all i taste is metal.. anyone else experiencing this?
i understand that it is a stainless steel drip tip. i was thinking about taking it to a friend who does metal polish work on APV's ask me for the link. he does great work! not sure if that will solve it. just wanted to hear from the voices of ECF!

No metalic taste here. I know what you are talking about though as I used to get that with the removable tips on cart tanks that had removable metal tips. Seemed after a while, but not all the time, they'd leave a weird taste. I usually wash my pro tank out after 5 or so tanks of juice with soap and water.

What kind of juice were you vaping last week? Did you do anything to clean the coil since then? I had a T2 that started getting a metallic taste after a couple of weeks. I found that the coil was fairly well gunk'd up (yes, that's a technical term). I soaked the head in vodka for a few hours washed it out and did a dry burn and its all better now.

I taste the same thing. It's the only thing I don't like about the Protank. I thought the airy draw would bother me, but I got used to it. I haven't been able to get rid of the metallic taste yet though. Washing it thoroughly helped some, but I never liked metal drip tips on my other clearos either because I'm sensitive to the metallic taste. I've found that stronger flavored liquids mask the taste some (like chocolates and mint flavors) but my favorite vape is butterscotch and I can really taste the metal with that one. I'm still working on it and if I find a solution, I'll be sure to post it here.
