any suggestion about Gyrfalcon All-44 problem

I bought a Gyrfalcon All-44 from IMR in October and until recently it has worked flawlessly. This past week I noticed that one slot (second from the left if that matters) didn't charge one of my VTC5As all the way. I put the battery in at around 3.8 volts along with a couple of others and the next morning two of the three cells were fully charged but one showed it was still charging at 4.0 volts. I thought maybe it was crooked or something so I took it out and put it back in. Later that day it was still at 4.0 volts.
I examined the battery again and there is no visible damage. This cell is one of four that I bought in December and all have performed well. I put the cell in a different slot and it charged right up to 4.2 volts.
I have since put different VTC5As and some 25Rs in that slot and am getting the same result the majority of the time. Usually the cells will get between 3.8 and 4.0 and stop.
Any suggestions for someone who isn't the most technologically advanced person?

Did you take a look at the spring or look up troubleshooting on their website?

Yep. Everything I've read deals with problems when the cell isn't charging at all and that's not my issue. If nothing else I'll call IMR on Monday but ECF members are about the best tech support I've found anywhere

Good luck. If you had a Pico you top off the charge in it. Don't tell CC I said that. Might never hear the end of it.

Curious stuff. For some reason, it seems the voltage divider which determines maximum charge voltage for slot 2 is somehow malfunctioning, maybe some resistor out of tolerance on the circuit board or whatever.
Honestly, I'd prefer to have two slots at the maximum standard or slightly less and the other two at about 3.95/4V to maximize cycle life, but this is me of course.
If slot 2 still gives out the same voltage each time you could still use it, but if there's a certain out of control variation in the voltage I'd pass.
Smells like you're going to ask for a replacement, which is wise.

I did some rearranging of my vape supplies last night and while doing so I had to unplug my chargers. I plugged everything back in and charged my batteries for the night as normal and this morning the battery in slot #2 was fully charged. I'll try it with different cells today but so far it looks like unplugging the charger and plugging it back in did the trick. Fingers crossed

One bay sitting at 4v and not completing charge makes me think there's some resistance in the connection. Sometimes I rotate a battery that's almost charged and it immediately turns the indicator green. Check/Clean the charger's spring loaded contacts and try switching the batteries around when you charge to see if it's slot related or battery specific. You can always put a dot on the battery that didn't complete to see if that issue persists in another bay.
