is there any easy way to tell what a volatile juice is? Or do you just have to find out the hard way? Not sure if I have any or ordered any...I did the protanks so I wouldn't find out the hard way.

There isn't any way to tell for certain, vendors use different recipes, but you may find this helpful:

EEEKKK! What happened to my tank?

Yksys, there's a couple of link to a couple of blogs on page 7.... The Ocelot's and Baditude's. Good reading. Here's a link to a thread that members have listed juices that have given them issues.

If you like carto tanks, IBTanked makes glass ones. I have one and it has worked well for me thus far.

Lol. I'm slow.

Im sorry if ive missed it somewhere, but if I just use one of my protanks on the ego mini, will I require an adapter to fit the ego mini? I think the mini has a 510 thread like the protank, but I may be wrong .... (IT guy here and I love specs...seems not all vape vendors feel the same way or at least make it more difficult than it should be)

I see RedHatPat has done the same setup.

?

No, you won't need a thread adapter, but you may need to use that beauty ring that comes with the ProTank--to cover the threads and to help support the weight of the tank. The tank is larger in diameter than you battery and quite heavy.

Thanks Katya, good thing I kept those!

Be nice to find something to match the same diameter and same length as protank (or smaller) so its not "top heavy". Looks like evod is the same length but could crack so I might as well go with protank since its pyrex and have a few already and save some cake. I not really fond of vaping out of plastics idea with the heat involved. I saw there is a protank mini coming soon but it looks to be longer in length than the standard one (is smaller diam) which kinda defeats purpose for stealth IMO.

I like some of the ones posted here and may still grab a different one once I receive the mini and can make sure its suitable for my needs before spending more money on some of the fancier ones.

Well, I use Kanger T3 and baby T3 and eVods on my eGos and love them. I don't use juices that crack tanks--I figure if they crack plastic, I don't want them in my lungs.

You could get a Vision Spinner 1300 mAh, which is 18mm in diameter, almost the same as ProTank.

Or you could get something like eGo T2 mod! They look cute--but they are fat!

I've just started using Ego's, previously on 510's - I need pretty small gear to carry around in a suit pocket :).
So I have the little 450 Ego's, and first popped on a Vision Nano, and it works great.
If you like a skinny cigarrette profile, I highly recomend those.
Waiting for delivery of some slightly bigger clearomizers, now that I'm mostly using the Ego.

Train, those are nice, but they don't come with changeable coils, which makes them very hard to clean and expensive to use--you have to buy a new clearomizer every time the coils gets bad. And they are long!

Have you considered baby T3s? I love mine--they are the same diameter as the battery and come with replacement coils! See my posts and pictures on previous page!

Yup, they are all eGo-threaded. And they are actually the same length. Sun Vapors usually carries them, but they may be out of stock. Get the eVod! Coils are cheaper. Kanger is redesigning their T3 coils--they will be just like the eVod and ProTank coils in the future.

I just think my baby T3s are cuter. :p

Out of stock. :(

Stormy's cellar has them--but they want more money.

My vote is for the EVOD BCC. It will look perfect on that little battery. I've been using 3 of them for about a month and they are amazing. Lots of delicious vapor, no problems, no leaks. IMHO, a protank on that little battery looks like overkill, but that's just me. Also, the standard 1.8 volt heads in the EVOD BCC might be a better match for a 450 mAh battery.

Protank? We're talking about a baby T3, magic! :)

That battery is a true 3.7v (it's not Joyetech) and it's small capacity, so I'd go with a 2.2Ω head, but 1.8 would work also--if you like warmer vape. Anyway, I use and like both the T3 and the eVod! You can't go wrong. Good luck!

All the other answers seem to be larger capacity - but I've gone super-simple. Here's my stealth stuff: Mini-Ego with either a Vision Nano or carto. Won't run all day, but it's good for a pocket - even a jeans pocket - my mini has the "5-clicks for OFF" function.

Very nice. :)

I love those mini eGos. Enjoy!

You could add a short Riva 901 cone to cover the threads with your carto setup--if you want to be fancy. :D
