nice looking build.
how are you liking this thing at the one week mark?
also, are the air holes able to be closed, or only adjustable?

After a week it's still vaping great, I like it a lot, even thinking about getting another one.
The air holes can be completely closed if you want it that way, just turn the top cap until the holes don't line up with the holes in the deck.

Couldn't help myself. Had to order one of these. My only real gripe with the Aga is how tall it is. Figured I can always drill a third... *correction* fifth (!!) air hole for single wick setups. Guess they'll make a three-holed revision at some point.

That's a good idea.

This thread and the video convinced me to get one and I was thinking I'd have my welder friend plug a hole or I'd make a plug. I hadn't considered making a fifth hole.

That's the best part about Youde gear. Affordable enough to just buy on a whim and mod until it works excellently or breaks. A hole and a washer, and it looks good to go.

So what is the major advantage with this over a AGA T+?

As I won't go for dual coils, the reason I'm getting it is it's shorter than the original Aga. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Don't know how much shorter. Does look like a fair bit in the pics, tho.

The biggest thing I see is this one is designed to work as a dual coil and it has adjustable air. Although from what I've read you're still going to have to modify it to open up the air flow.
If it fit tight enough they could've had large holes and relied on using half hole settings to lessen airflow.

The AGA-t2 can be used as dual coil but you have to modify it by at least adding an air hole for the second coil. Once you do that it will always have that second hole so it makes going between single a dual harder to do.

They dropped the ball with this one to not have it so the air could be adjusted from dual to single. That will take modifying the airflow by plugging a hole or opening another.

You still "have" to roll a wick (unless you're doing some other wick type).

I'm not entirely sold on dual coils/lowΩ for a dripper. I'm really not sold on them for a tank.
I think tanks should be on a VV/VW to take advantage of the tank size and battery life. That means using two 2.4Ω-2.8Ω coils in the least. My VV/VW try at a dual coil RDA wasn't that great, two 3Ω coils didn't do it for me, even after figuring out I had to go high wattage it still acted like high Ω coils.

But as long as this one can be easily modded to work with a single coil it would be worth it to mess around with. I might hit on dual coil high Ω Nirvana, or if not I use it as a single.

Yes, 22mm diameter (well 22mm on the tank, 22.25 on the metal)

and for those interested..... the 'Fauxgotti' AGA replacement top caps they sell at Kidney Puncher do fit on this.... need to drill a second air hole for the second wick or just run one wick but, they do fit.... and look pretty damn nice

I'm calling this one my FauxCaraGottiVela...

Looks like the cap has an adjustable ring for air flow control. I could be mistaken.

Any insight on how this would work with a single wick setup, considering the dual air intakes? Could always plug one up, but is there any way to do this "out of the box"? Looks a fair bit shorter than the Aga, so I'm semi-interested.

Well in my experience with a Trident single wick with dual holes will run fine as long as one hole is next to the coil. Honestly even dual coils on Trident with one air hole is fine as long as the one airhole is large enough. Basically with two holes on a single coil build would be fine.

Got mine... Haven't washed it out and set it up yet, but I can definitely say it's not a ring thingy like I first thought. This was also debunked by Todds video. It has holes in the cap and holes on the rim surrounding the cap. First look impression; tiny air holes. Will definitely drill mine out.

For the dual wick part... Can't see this working too well. Wicks would be opposite each other and would not lend well to the gennie tilt.

That being said, I didn't get mine for the dual coil potential. I will just drill another hole, add a washer, and use it like a shorter Aga T.

Well, I've been vaping it for about a day and would like to hear other peoples experinces. I tried dual ceramic wicks 30 gauge net out at .7 ohms, and am trying 32 gauge net out at 1.1 ohms.....Flavour......somewhat obscene..like eating an ice cream sundae...gooy?very good flavor.nic hit probablly illegal.I am totally surprised at how much juice it drinks.though I bored out two of my air holes to 1.3mm I find this thing doesn't create as much vapor as I can get out of a single wick aga-t.probablly drowning in condensed juice.Anyway how are other people doing any tips or tricks, although I think the flavor quite good if i vaped it regularlly I'd have to drop nic levels in juice and start buy by the gallons.
