The microwave might not be a way to go. It might well be a plastic type that will melt. Air dry, or if you're in a rush leaving on a radiator if you have one for heating and the furnace is on can also help move things along. Generally I go with leave it and it'll dry.

Same here normally, and I suspect the plastic may melt, that's why my hesitation.
I'm afraid this batch may have a drop of water in it...

If you shake using a downward motion like old time thermometers, you can get most of the water out. I don't think a speck left will hurt you imo.
That is what I tend to do, shake them out.
I've learned when air drying them to leave them dropper point up to let the moisture out more freely...

When in a hurry the easiest thing to do is to rinse out with distilled water, then you are good to go. No waiting since distilled water is used in eliquids. You could also put a bit of pg in the dropper and squeeze out what you can but that is messier than distilled water.

Yep, that's the way to do it. There's no better way to dry those disposable plastic Pasteur pipettes, as they're intended for one-time-use.

As others have said, there's no harm whatsoever in having some water in your juice. The opposite: I intentionally mix in 2% DW into my batches to lower the vaporization temperature and viscosity.

But if you really want to remove all the water quickly for whatever reason, you should take advantage of the hygroscopic properties of your bases. Draw in 3mL of PG and then discard it. Then you can be confident there is no water remaining.

are you using a pipette or a dropper with the squeeze bulb?

dry the pipette with a rinse of alcohol and air flow, the dropper requires a full wash out using distilled water and then a preload ( fill and then empty) of what you plan to use next.

Compressed air AKA blow through it.

If all else fails, get out the hair dryer, pull the rubber squeeze bulb of the end of the dropper, and blow warm air into the large end for a few seconds.

I guess I was a little misleading, I'm using a "disposable" plastic dropper for transferring nicotine from it's bottle to a mix.
I like the idea of alcohol, had not thought of that. All I have is isopropyl though and that's no good.
Flushing with PG mentioned by a couple is something I had thought about, but do not want to add any tiny amount to my nic bottle.
I ended up being satisfied with a tiny amount of condensation in dropper, any water transferred I think is negligible.
btw, a pipette has an open top, a dropper has a closed top with squeeze bulb :)
You got me there, its a dropper. We call them disposable pipettes at work.

I find it humorous that you are this meticulous but won't just throw the pipette away and use a fresh one as intended. :D

I've used the same 2 disposable plastic pipettes that came with my initial flavors for the last 3 years.

While mixing, I just run it under the faucet then shake it like a Polaroid picture. When done, I stick it in my brush holder on the windowsill pointed down. That's just me.

So yeah, I need to mix some juice this morning and can't wait for the little plastic dropper I just washed to dry out.
I have considered putting it in the microwave.
Anyone ever done this or have their own fast drying secret technique?

Could set them out in the sun for a few days on a trey lined with alum. foil (shinny side up). Cover them at night with an old clean towel rag and remove in the morning.
