No they make a AW 16340(same as cr123a) that is 8c. They sell them at lighthound.com

I'm using those. They're great, but I can't wait to get a device that will take an 18650 or an 18500. I go through at least three of the 16340s a day, and I'm getting a little tired or charging batts all day long. :p

Really wish they made a IMR 14500 so I could hook up the Grant. Has anyone tried the regular LiIon AW14500s and if so can you tell any difference in those and a regular 14500 LiIon?

I bought a couple of the AW 14500s for my BB but haven't been able to tell much of a difference from my Trustfire 14500. I'm tempted to say the AWs last longer but I can't say for sure yet. It's kinda nice to know you have the best of the best when it comes to LiIons I suppose.

erm, yes I have one and love it. It does make the ts nice and small. Actually you will need some magnet spacers to keep your sleeve on the device. If you don't use magnets you will have telescopic showing. I have been stacking 7- 1mm spacers to get me a tiny little gap with a gold band showing. Pretty cool looking and the battery performs just as good as my 18650 HD> They are awesome! My favorite vape now with the i3 and AFS. Been on that kick for almost a week now and 6v is not so appealing anymore. The HD has ruined my CR2 fetish.

Too bad you're on high drain now, because I just found a place where you can get AW CR2s :D (Maybe the last remaining?)

??????.....??? ?? ?? ??? ???.

I do find all this 'high drain', for single cell applications, euphoria rather confusing. A 2.2Ω Joye atty pulls about 1.8A, tops. Any of the current large Li-ion batteries can easily supply that. And once you move to other atties, say 3Ω you are only pulling about 1.3A.

Also note that the 'safer' LiMN's are not protected, there is no low voltage cut-off. What does that mean, in the case of a short or inadvertent switch activation, when used in most home-made and American mods?

Run time is also quite pathetic.

Look at the graphs and see if you can spot which one is the cheap, always mAh over-rated Trustfire.

On the graph, the black trace is 0.3A, red is 1A and green is 3A discharge current.

I'll stick with these.

Well the 18500's work fine with my 510, but with a cartos I would have to put the magnet spacer in. Tried stretching the bottom spring a bit, bit didn't want to do it too much.

Yea I like using the 18500 HD battery. I bought two more of them I like em so much. All these graphs and stuff don't tell me how much vapor and throat hit I am going to get from a battery. Could be that I finally found a real quality battery or something. The AW brand has a good reputation and that is important when using something every day and depending on it to deliver the nice performance charge after charge. I will report back after a month or so of using these bad boys and see how the performance drops off.
