Good morning! So here in central S.C., deer hunting season starts in a little over a week and the husband will be out there the first day with bells on (not really - bells would be a dumb thing to wear deer hunting). Currently he has an Evod he's been using that seems to have good battery life and has been pretty durable for a few weeks (he's rough on stuff; already destroyed 2 Egos). I'm wondering if any other hunting people have any recommendations or what you all use when you're out in the woods chasing down those cute tasty animals.

Best suggestion... flavorless (i.e. odorless more or less) Them tasty animals have pretty good sense of smell, so I'd stay away from bakery vapes, for sure!!
You can mix up a batch of vg/pg/nic base with no flavoring... get the nic craving taken care of without giving yourself away too much... might also consider holding the vape in as long as possible to reduce the cloud to imperceptible levels... and as always... bring back-up spares... I break all kinds of crap when tromping through the woods!

No problem... I pretty much hunt and eat anything that walks, crawls, swims or flies... I keep an eGo with a little cart just for hunting (only time I use it, actually) mix up a flavorless batch and it hasn't given me away yet... only problem I've had was I had to put my vape down to pick my gun back up when a white-tail walked up on me... LOL

I use unflavored 50/50 pg/VG. I've lost a couple due to the smell of flavored juice. On the other hand my buddy swears his apple whatever will attract them.. Who knows lol.

The unflavored reminds me of a marb light. Its not terrible and does the job.

As for a device I usually bring my provari and a couple extra batteries. The thing is bulletproof. Its been lost overnight in the rain and mud and vaped the next morning. I will probably try out my hana modz on the next trip. I just got a large portable power bank to charge it from.

Good luck, stay safe and have fun.

I'm gonna use an MVP2 with a decent size tank. I like to see which way the breeze is going no matter how slight it is. Whitetails are going to smell anything if they are down wind so I'm gonna vape whatever I feel like. I'm more of a stand hunter in bow season but if I were stalking I'd probably want an Evod on a lanyard even if I had to duct tape it on there.:)

interesting, I don't know if we'll make it out to the friend's blind this year, the butcher almost son in law provides venison when we want it, so other than to go kill and spend a bunch of money, I've not gone since 2012, but yeah those deer catch any scent, if I'm out bow hunting, but I can't .... my 100#compound anymore and old so go for the less sporting blind these days...

interesting thought though...

I've got some friends that hunt and vape, and are starting a new line of ejuice specifically tailored to hunters. Kind of curious to see how their juice works out.

I can see it now "Tinks 69" tinks 69.jpg for the serious deer hunting vaper!!!
