Hi Silver, you're post makes me feel better.glad u r happy with it:) I'm looking foreward 2 getting mine. BTW I asked Debbie to send me the new batteries, and she said the old ones were the better ones.I'm alittle confused.so I told her just to send the ones that worked.....good luck

Chuckie:

I don't think there will be many problems once Marian gets things sorted out here.So the older batteries are the good ones?,lol,Hey Debbie, will u exchange my batteries?,hehe,J/k Two things i dont care for,no big deal tho,the cartridges, ewwwww, yuckos,,,,lol,i ordered the tobacco high flavor,is sort of a cigar/pipe blend, not my taste,i have a HUGE sweet tooth,,,,:D And the batteries, they have a red LED,would be cooler with a blue one and even WAY COOLER with a PURPLE LED,(HINT,lol)
Right now i am vaping away on this thing on cartridges(ewwwwwww, lol),i cant put it down and the more i use it,the better it gets.I do have to remind you all,you dont need to suck on this thing like a vacuum cleaner, easy and slow works the best so far.I can assure you ,i am planning on ordering a couple more atomizers and batteries once Marian has them with a blue or a PURPLE!!!!!!!,lol,,,, LED for them, hehe.,I think i found my E-CIG!!

I just received my replacement batteries and atomizer. The atomizer is good, but the batteries have the same cut-off problem. I have to draw in a different way than my 901. In my 901, I can do a constant draw for 10 seconds. But for the vapor 1000, I need to draw in pulses. I don’t know how to descript it. When I draw, instead of one constant slow draw, I need to draw it strong, then weak, then strong, then weak…If not, the led will turn off in 2 seconds. As a newbie, I’m so confuse right now.:confused:
I think I really need a vaporing class.

Bml;

Let me try to help you here, mine behaves somewhat like a pipe. One suggestion is to stand in front of a mirror, then start to draw very lighty,it doesnt take much for the atomizer in these to fire up,watch the LED and practice very light draws, the lighter the better i found. On mine i take two short draws at times only one, then i can do way long ones with alot of vapor keeping the draw as light as possible. You wont think that it is producing vapor on these light draws but let me tell you omg it does!!!!Really,it is so close to like smoking a pipe, when i smoked a pipe i never took hard draws on them.Try the mirror method, begin with the ligtest draw, just barely draw on it till the LED lights up,is all it takes for mine to kick ....,lol

About a month ago my son and i got two DSE901 starter kits from MiniCigarette.net,these are the real SLB 901's.When we first got them we both had alot of trouble with them,we were hitting them way hard,WRONG!!!!!!.We both thought they where total JUNK!!!!!,,,Well,we were wrong, the batteriy lights would go off blinking like crazy,we cussed swore, thought we got ripped off bigtime.I worked with those 901's,hell,now that i learned to take light draws on them,it is hitting like a million bucks, darn near close to Marians. My son has the platinum 901's from Puresmoker, those i do believe are the RN4075's,those do take a bit more of a draw and are really good.Be patient try the mirror deal, every one of these e-cigs vaporizes differently, small learning curve on these till you get them working for you.

BML - I understand what you are saying :( This is the same thing that is happening to mine. I was able to keep the LED on for about 5 seconds before, but now it is down to 3 seconds when I try to take a long slow draw. I've stood in front of the mirror to watch exactly what it is doing. I've even gone back and watched the video on Marian's web site vaporcig.com trying to see the LED when the gal is vaping it in the video.. but the lighting is too bright to see it very well. I do think at this point that my batteries are not working right (and I have the newer ones with the wording.) I thought since both batteries seem to do the same thing it probably was something I was doing wrong. I didn't hear back from Debbie from my email sent on Sunday, so I tried to call her when I got home about 4:30 and she was gone for the day. The gal I talked to was leaving Debbie a message, and said she would call me in the AM on Tuesday.

SilverEagleBW - Glad to hear your Vapor 1000 is working great! It sounds like if you can do a L-O-N-G draw without the LED going out you have a winner! :D I can get some really nice little short puffs that do sort of feel like smoking on a pipe... but there is just no way to get a long slow draw without the LED going out.. and no vapor.

Mixxy, No You Don't Need "e-smoking school"!

My Damn Vapor 1000 Batteries Cut Out In 2 Seconds! I wish I Had 5 Seconds!

There suppose to send me new batts due to they sent out some "duds" (their technical term used).

Still waiting for the replacement Vapor 1000 Batts, I might just send this whole Vapor 1000 back, how long am I suppose to wait?

I know there a new company & are trying hard, but damn, you do not send out products that don't work or are "duds" for Any Reason! No Excuse!

Especially How their marketing / advertising the Special High Quality & "generous warranty"!

Yea their CS seems OK from other posts, thats the only glue they have from what I see.

Just my 2 cents rather $99.00 LOL!

Well both of my batteries seem to be down to 3 seconds now when I try to do a long slow draw. The batteries also don't seem to stay on for the 10-11 seconds they were when I draw hard, now they sort of flicker on and off. :( I have a call in to Debbie, so will see what she thinks when she calls me tomorrow. Will keep you posted,

Darn Mixxy,i feel bad for you people having troubles with the 1000's!!!Debbie did admit that the first shipment had duds, ugh. Not good for that to happen for someone just starting out in this business with their own product.I am sure Marian is very upset with all this and is in touch with her manufacturing company to make this right for everyone.Right now i am messing with these batteries, short and long draws, the battery switch is sensitive but it isnt cutting out on me.I havent charged these batteries yet, straight out of the box, perhaps i will have problems once i run them trough the charging cycles,i'll know more tomorrow after i put them trough the first 5 hour charge.Let you all know what happens then, keep us posted Mixxy.

SilverEgaleBW,
Thank you for your suggestion. Actually, I've already done it in front of a mirror. The problem I'm having now is the led light turns off after 2 seconds of constant draw. It doesn't matter how light or how hard I draw, it just turns off after 2 seconds. The only way I can have a longer draw is to do many small draws.

Mixxy,
I think we have the same problem. In addition, one of my atomizer is harder to draw than the other one. I called Debbie last Friday, and she said she'd send two fully tested batteries and atomizer.
Today, I received them. Then the result...look here:

Got to be a problem in the microswitches or whatever it is in the batteries, this is really a shame, these 1000's are nice, well made, well that is except for this battery problem.:(

I know SilverEagleBW... I feel bad for Marian that these batteries seem to have more problems than not. I do think that mine have gotten worse the longer they've been charged.. and used. When I first tried one out of the box with the factory charge I remember thinking it was working great... I don't know what happened after that. When I saw I had the "new" batteries with the wording on them I was thinking that was a good thing.. and now read the old ones are suppose to work better... I'll talk to Debbie tomorrow and see what we can do. I'm willing to try another few batteries to see if I can get things working right. I do love the e-cig.. it's such a beauty (but like you I would have liked a blue or purple LED) but don't mind orange as long as I can get it working right! ;)

I think I need to clear something up. When I receive e-mails or phone calls requesting replacement batteries and I ask if you your batteries have The Vapor written on them or not is because if they have The Vapor on them then I send you batteries that have The Vapor written on them. If you have batteries that don't have The Vapor written on them then I send you batteries that don't have The Vapor written on them. The batteries and atomizers were designed to work together. Meaning the batteries with the name on it goes with the atomizer that has the name on it and the battery with no name on it goes with the atomizer with no name on it. I hope this helps with the confusion.

I talked to Debbie on Tuesday.. and she is sending me two new batteries to try. Hopefully this will fix the problem. She asked if I had the batteries with "The Vapor" printed on them.. so maybe they'll send me the oldies but ?goodies? this time!

Hi Mixxy,

Umm thats Interesting, I emailed Them Yesterday (Tuesday), and Asked If She Shipped My Replacement Batts Yet.

To My Surprise Debbie Called me about an hour later(Good Service).

She Said She would shipped me the (2) Replacement Batteries for the "duds" Today (Tuesday).

She Never Asked About "The Vapor" Printed on the Batts or Atoms...

So Whats Up Now, Logo or No Logo are The Good Ones?

Keep Prayin & Vapin!

I didn't ask you because if yours had The Vapor on it because if you ordered a blue 1 I know it has The Vapor written on it because we never got blue ones without The Vapor written on them. They are both good and the only reason I ask is because you don't want to mix the batteries and atomizers together. Name on it goes with Name on it. No name on it goes with no name on it. I hope this clears up everyones confusion.

Well after almost 2 weeks my vapor 1000 is still going strong! It has replaced my classic pen as my after work/nighttime e-cig. I'm still on the same atomizer and the battery's haven't seemed to loose any of their strength yet so I am quite pleased w/ this e cig. Also I got some of their 555 juice and it's really good. Great job vapor cig, very satisfied customer here:)...

Hi all, Got my 1000 about 2hrs ago, here's what I got and my 1st impression. First; I got the black one,no logo on batt. or atmoizer. Instructions said 8-8-8 smoke between charges than usually 3-4 hrs per charge,u all know the drill. It also said smoke w/factory charge until flashing, then begin 8-8-8 cycle.I did this w/both batts. Battery #1 is now in charger has been there about 2hrs,it went to green within about an hour but i'm letting it cook.Batt. #2 is patiently waiting it's turn. Lane asked awhile back if it flashed when I put it in the charger, it did not. Ok,onto first impressions.I got about 1/2 hours use out of batt.#1 before blinking, spent first 10 mins.learning how 2 smoke it.As Silver mentioned,1 mabye 2 short primer hits than looong slow draw. eyw watering throat lung wacking hit w/ above avg. vapor. this is the closest thing i found to analogs yet by the way this is with high tabacco juice. battery #2 lasted about 10 mins before it began flashing and the experience was about the same. if after charging, this thing works as well or better then on my first impression ill be extremely thrilled and satified. ill try to keep you posted and please bear with me as i cant type.

Thanks for all the previous help and input from all of you.......Chuck

EDIT: i forgot to mention that i can draw on it for about 8-9 seconds and no battery flashing.
