I have a little update on my Vapor 1000! :D I got my replacement batteries last Thursday. I charged one up, but when I tried it I was so disappointed. It didn't seem to be working any better. I tried the second battery once it was charged... and the same thing. The LED on both was staying on (most of the time) for 5-6 seconds on the slow/long draw, so at least longer than the 2-3 on the "bad" batteries. Feeling frustrated I hadn't tried them anymore until Tuesday. When I bought my kit I'd ordered both mint & coffee cartridges, so I decided to put in one of the coffee, since I hadn't tried them yet. The 2nd atomizer was next to the cartridge box, and thought I would put that on too. The very first time I tried my e-cig I'd put used that atomizer (and this was when I thought it was working okay) and later put the other atomizer on just to make sure it was working. I never did go back to that 1st atomizer again until Tuesday... and what a HUGE difference!

So... my biggest problem was a bad atomizer! Even with the short cut-off time on my batteries I am FINALLY getting a really nice amount of vapor! :D The "bad" atomizer does work.. but just barely. I took the cartridge off both atomizers and drew just from the atomizer, and there was a HUGE difference in them. The one that is working well makes a hissing noise, with lots of vapor, while the bad one just barely puts out a little fluff of vapor.

Has anyone tried calling the Vapor Cig office? I tried calling several different times during the day on Tuesday & Wednesday. Nobody is answering the phone, and the voice mailbox said it was full.
I want to ask Debbie what she thinks about the cut-off time on the batteries, since I do seem to be getting good vapor with this atomizer. Maybe she'll see this post.. or I'll try sending an email if she isn't in the office on Thursday. :)

Mixxy, right now i am during testing on the 1000,i have contacted Debbie with a few questions i had about the batteries and she got right back to me,great sevice!!!Once the batteries are corrected in the 1000's they will be really awsome, the battery issues with the manufactuer are being addressed right now.I plan on doing a complete video review once Marian gets the problems addressed, not fair to do one right now till manufactuer solves the battery issues. As i stated before, there are other well known products right now having way more problems that Marian is right now, with one design flaw in the battery.I am shocked that you are having a problem with the atomizer, those things are built very well.Email Debbie,i am sure she will take care of you Mixxy,,,,,,,,:D

That helps to know they are working on resolving the battery problem with the manufacturer. I do feel like the batteries I have that are working *the best* still are not working *correctly* but... just being able to finally getting this nice vapor & throat hit on the batteries as they are now is heavenly! :D

I know.. it never dawned on me that my main problem was that atomizer.. because I knew that it wasn't totally *dead* but didn't realize how poorly it was working  I know bml said one of his/her's atomizers was not working right and was replaced.

I agree... what e-cig hasn't had a few bugs when they first come out.. and I'm willing to wait! If I'm lovin' this e-cig even when it's not working 100% -- it's going to be totally awesome once they get it all sorted out!! The quality of this e-cig is amazing compared to any of the others I've had. It's so heavy duty, beautiful... AND the cartridges fit so nice & tight... and they last SO long compared to everything else I've had. I can sit down and watch a movie on TV and not be constantly filling my cartridge... I LOVE it! Plus... having a 1 year warranty on the batteries... and life-time warranty on the atomizer... where do we ever see THAT? I'll be right here waiting patiently... :D

I want to thank you for your time in letting everyone know how well you like your Vapor. It is best atomizer in the world, in my humble opinion. Batteries -- yes, we are working on with our provider. We will continue to stand by our customers' needs.

Six to seven seconds is a standard draw/drag. Also, even though your light may flicker during inhalation, especially if you're dragging softly, you can continue to drag and the light and battery will go back on and vapor will continue to be made.

A new atomizer and battery are on their way to you. We are not aware of any phone calls or messages on our machine from you, so I apologize for missing your calls. Perhaps you misdialed or the phone company was not doing its job. Just in case, here is our number again:

951-686-8626

Lastly, here's a good tip. Adding 2 drops of eLiquid to your atomizer will give you the best vaping experience there is. However, if you do e-drip into/ontoyour atomizer, then please do not forget to blow out the atomizer daily to clean out any remaining eLiquid residue clogged in th atomizer. And then clean your threads on both ends for good contact with your battery and atomizer.

Debbie

Hello,
I am new to this forum, but I have been reading it for months. I wanted to share my experience with Vaporcig. I am a truck driver and I have been using NJOY's produce for a while. Unfortunately they die continuously. I went to the Victoria Garden's mall in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I found a Vaporcig kiosk there. I decided to buy carts since they work with my NJOY and puresmoker 801. Ruby, There customer service person was amazing. Vaporcig does not push sales and are very helpful. I tried there produce and I ended up leaving with two pen kits and alot of liquid.
Unfortunately My kits had bad batteries. I emailed Vaporcig and recieved a notice from Debbie within an hour apologizing and letting me know that they can send me new batteries. I told them that the next time I wan in the LA area that I would get them replaced.
This weekend I went are got them replaced by Claudia (also a great customer service agent.) We went through the batteries and got them replaced. I got back to my truck and starting using my Vapor 1000.
I see alot of people have the same problem that I had with a 3 second cutoff. So I went back to the kiosk thinking they were broken. When I got there, Marian was there. she was extremely helpful. we went through my kits and decided they were good. So what was wrong?
The Vapor 1000 is extremely delicate and is much different from other 801 models. Marian personally taught me to use the Vapor 1000. I decided to share it with you.
the Vapor 1000 will cut off after 3 seconds if you do not draw right. But if you notice it does not blink at the 3 second cutoff. The reason why is because you can draw a good 6 or 7 seconds before the real cutoff. You have to learn to draw on it. It takes a few minutes to learn but once you have it this product is amazing. Draw slowly, not to slow, just as hard like you would with standard 801's. If the light flickers, keep going, its not done. If you drag to hard it will cutoff and will not come back one. Sit and practice with a mirror. I guarantee that within 15 minutes you will have it down and then you will realize your Vapor 1000's potential. It is amazing. I now can smoke it without even thinking about it and I smoke my Puresmoker 801 the same way. I thank Marian so much for personally teaching me and putting up with my nagging. Marian and her staff are so helpful and her product is great. I used to think that an E-cig over 100 dollars was to expensive. The Vaporcig 1000 has completely changed my opinion. If you are looking for a great E-Cig, the Vapor 1000 is a great buy. Plus the warranty is the best out there. They will guarantee your Vapor's atomizer for years to come. And I have experienced first hand that they will not question the replacement of your hardware (as long as it is used properly and is used with supplied hardware only.)
The Vapor 1000 is a must try and with a money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose. In the future I will post a you tube video showing everyone how to smoke it from a customers point of view.
keep Vaping,
Trucker Sean.

They have an extremely good service. Almost, every time after I sent my email, either Debbie or Marian will give me a call back right away.

For their products, I have a very bad luck about the batteries. :( I have tired six black batteries, but none of them worked as suppose to be. Finally, I got two white ones, and they work. I am not saying their products are bad. As a new product, it usually has a lower yield, so I believe there is no exception for their products. In this case, what is the most important is customer service. Marian, Debbie, and the other staffs are extremely friendly and really helpfully. Marian told me that she had figured out the problem, and she’ll test every single battery and atomizer. I trusted her, so I ordered two more for my friends yesterday.

For their atomizers, I had tried six also. I found that they came in a pair with one producing more vapor than the other one. Like Mixxy said, the hissing one produces more vapor. Yesterday, I soaked the weaker one in warm water for an hour, and then let it dry. Today, when I tried the weaker one, I was shocked because the weaker one more produces even more vapors than the stronger one. I was impressed. Now, I got myself a real fog machine.:D

Mixxy, I suggest you clean your weaker atomizer also. May be you’ll get a fog machine, too.

I know the battery problems suck. Since I am stuck down here in the LA area, I went over to the local kiosk and helped sort good and bad batteries. I know over email you cannot really understand what a company is doing. When you talk to Marian and the local girls, you can tell that they are having a hard time with the batteries. They are trying so hard to get all the bad ones out and start getting the good ones out there. You can tell how they feel, We all know NJOY atomizers are crap and NJOY won't do anything about it. Marian and all the people over at Vaporcig have worked so hard to create a good e-cig that everyone can be proud of. If anyone is thinking about ordering a vaporcig, just contact them and they will do their best to get you a working kit, and I have no doubt that in the future this problem will no longer exist. as an e-cig enthusiast I have to support my favorites and I think every enthusiast should try the Vaporcig.

Both my Blue and Black Vapor 1000 are from the second shipment, I had battery issues with both. I do have an original old model white Vapor as well that I had no issues with. My understanding from talking to Marian, is the second shipment is the shipment that had all the duds. Since it was the newer model the manufacturer messed up part of the shipment. She is working with her manufacturer to make sure this problem is corrected and does not happen again. I know Marian and the people at the office have tested all most all the second shipment batteries to try and find all the duds. Lol, she said it took all week and by the end she did not want to vape for a while. :)

Hi all, just some quick info. Had a bad Batt. in my 1st vapor(black-no logo),i called Debbie , she said she's sorry and sent me out a whole new starter kit that same day(vapor logo, black). She said it was tested and should be working fine. I'm right now vaping it on batt. A ,while batt B is charging (about 20 min. to go). This thing is amazing,it is easily out doing my 901, which is on a usb passthru, it also has a much smoother draw.
My warmest thanks 2 Debbie& Marion for an excellent product and superior, friendly service...Thx again Chuck:):)

Here's the Video I promised, As soon as I can start a thread I will post a Full video review to give everyone a better idea of the details of the Vapor 1000. Hopes this helps everyone who has one and everyone who is still looking.

YouTube - Vapor 1000 Electronic Cigarette by Trucker Sean

Legato525 - Thanks so much for sharing your own experiences with the Vapor 1000 -- and for posting the video for us! :D

I had watched the video on Marian's web site at vaporcig.com SO many times on 'how' to draw etc. hoping it would help me... but because there is so much light in the video... it was impossible to see the LED to tell how long it was staying on. Debbie sent me another new battery & atomizer last week that I recieved on Saturday. The battery is working pretty much like last 2 sent to me, staying on from 3-6 sec. with the LED cutting on/off now and then, so it seems now that this is pretty much normal from watching your video. I had never used a pen style e-cig at all before, so the Vapor 1000 was very different in general from the 901 or Dura I'd been using before, plus the learning curve on how to vape it correctly!

The more I use the Vapor 1000 (now knowing that the battery going on/off is okay) the more I'm loving it. Marian & Debbie have been great... their customer service excellent... and warranty is the best out there.
I'm a very happy customer! :D

The battery flickering is just do to the sensitivity of the battery. If the draw is good it can flicker. As long as it continues to operate it is a good draw. I like to take advantage of it, because if it does a complete fade and comes right back, it extends the cutoff time. Since I prefer lots of vapor, it works to my advantage. Hope this helps.

After emailing through Contact option on website I placed my order. Many thanks go to everyone who reviewed the product and your results convinced me to make my 1st e-cig order.
As scheduled I received the black Vapor 1000 both battery and atomizer have log "TheVapor" on them. Both worked immediately out of the box. In fact it took me 20 minutes before I realized they were missing the cartridges.
I am on day 2 and both batteries and atomizers are working perfectly.
I still have a curve to learn as when to drip, top off, or replenish cartridge, atomizer, or battery but I am more than satisfied with the product and the customer service. Debbie rocks! No issues previously documented in forum. Both atomizers and batteries are working as expected.
The hardest part for the 1000 for me that I am an e-cig virgin, so not only is there a learning curve but there is a psychological block which needs to be broken. Although on my 1st day I only had 7 analogs and now on my second only 4 when previously I was at approximately a pack day seems to speak for itself.
I would never call this a budget item but I would say after my research I believe in buying something that the owner stands behind and if that means saving money than I am all for it and the Vapor 1000.

These really just seem to use the new electromagnetic switch batteries , I hated them when I got one but learend the proper technique and the drags of vapor seem'd better but all my batteries died a very premature death less than a week 3 batteries , THESE WERE NOT MARIANS VAPORCIGS that I was using they were from another supplier but I came to realize that these batteries and the switches need a overhaul as the design may increase atomizer life and overall battery life because of the very limited draw time , unless proper technique is learnt . but with constant discharge from vibration of everyday movement and nosie etc they are a complete failure in this current design .
