Still getting mixed results. Here are pictures of my fuse. Tell me if something looks incorrect.
Pic 1: Sanded fuse versus non-sanded fuse
Pic 2: Fuse is longer than axis so it should be making contact
Pic 3: Top of fuse axis is sanded to a shine

The bottom of the brass axis threaded hole is flat?

I decided to try something different. I half destroyed one of my fuses out of frustration (whoops!) so I used the half that was still as it should be and wrapped it through my other fuse. So it's basically two fuses wrapped together inside of my fuse axis now. After I did that and reinstalled my fuse axis, #348 is back to vaping like normal again. My question now is will having two fuses inside the axis compromise the fuse's ability to prevent a short?

hmmmm good question tenfour! I would think it would not work properly in the event of a short. But at least you got the thing working. I have had a few times on my TS where I was not getting good contact between battery and axis. The threads on my TS had a little dirt or something keeping it from screwing all the way down. Take the battery out and screw the telescopic part all the way into the device and feel if you have a bur or something holding it from screwing all the way down. When we take the spring out we have to go a little farther than usual. If you don't have any noalox get some. It is pretty much a necessity on the TS because of the threads.

Hope you get this figured out and please let us know what it was.

What drives me crazy is that I dont have reduce in smoke or kick at all. I put another fuse in my GGTS, I also changed 5 springs and nothing happened.!!!

I also put a fuse with rounded bottom and then a flat one. Nothing again.

I cant explain this. There is no way for fuse to not work properly. I dont get it.!!

Ok i've just confirmed it. The fuse does not affect vapor or TH on any configuration. The GGTS works just the same , but with improved security.

One thing i might be doing is, just not using the fuse with a 18650 battery: with a 510 atomizer the GGTS shows a thread on both middle sections and on the cap.

Imeo: i really don't know any electricity, would the fuse spring be any good with the standard spring pole???

exactly Sadtranz.
But keep in mind that multimeters have an internal resistance too so it will show about 0,5-0,7 ohms:)

Yes you are correct as allway's

I took the extra spring out and then cleaned and sanded everything once again. I swabbed everything with alcohol to remove any dust from sanding. I also sanded the top of the fully assembled fuse axis again. I checked the resistance and everything checked out okay. I found that if I overtightened the GGTS (not extremely overtightened, but firmly) when I assembled everything back together, I got vapor that was extremely close if not exactly the same as when I had the original spring axis installed. Everything was working normally. Unfortunately, all that pressure caused the adjustable atomizer pin to press the bottom of my atomizer up into itself, and has caused the atomizer to fail. I pulled the atomizer bottom out again, but it only works until the pressure causes it to malfunction again. I am currently using a different atomizer, and everything seems to be working normally (I have not overtightened this one). The problem with the fuse seems to have been completely alleviated, but I have unfortunately failed at pinpointing the exact cause of the previous problems. I will update if anything else changes. By the way, did I mention that I LOVE my GGTS #348? :) I think we're bonding!:D
