Anybody excited about the 2.0 for the Evic?

Most of the evic users have updated to 1.2. It's easier than ever. Download and install the MVR software. Plug in your evic. MVR recognizes the unit and asks if you want to upgrade (before you would have to move the firmware file to the correct folder then click on upgrade).

Lots of updated features on 1.2 (too lazy to list them all). So far I am very happy with the update.

I am having an issue with the mvr program... everytime I plug in my evic the program will not read it. To make it work I have to reinstall mvr and then it connects(keeping it plugged in during the install). does anyone else have this problem?

Try this. Power off your Vic. Then plug the USB into the device. Then plug it into your PC/laptop. Then find the icon for the MVR software. Right click on it and run it As Administrator. I had luck doing it in those steps with two different units that also were not being seen by my laptop. Just a suggestion.

That's great software btw. I advise you guys to install it!
