Anybody excited about True Blood finale tonight?

True Blood is my favorite series this year, along with Weeds, Dexter, Nurse Jackie and others...Seems I've becoming an HBO and Showtime series junkie, but they are so GOOD!

I read all 9 of the Charlaine Harris books before True Blood came out, but the show does alot of things differently thank the books...

I'm so excited about tonight! So who do you think will die! Is Bill really putting Sam up for sacrifice, or is it a ploy?

Woo hoo! I just wish Sookie could have played more of a role in the demise of the wench. I did like the dead plants sprouting from her body. Very cool.

So when is it coming back? At least they said at the end that there is going to be a 3rd season so no wondering and waiting for an announcement. Have to go check and see if they started filming yet...

Oh, and I haven't read the books but I'm very happy they kept Lafayette. I LOVE him!

Oh, and I wish they would do something with Bill's hair. It was really sexy in season 1, now it's kind of dorky. Is that what they're going for???

Saw it and it was good. Glad they explained a lot of things. Didn't know how they would work it all out. Hope that next season they stick more with Sookie story/vampire line and don't get off on a whole bunch of other stuff. Seemed to me like this season, they tried to fit to much into each show. Didn't much care for the maryann story part. Hope they keep Jessica and Hoyt together, they are such a cute couple. Maybe they could make Hoyt into a vampire to be with Jessica. So glad they didn't kill her off. To bad we didn't get to see more of Eric. Bit of course I am a big Eric fan. Can't wait til next season. Seems to long to wait.

WOW, that was a pretty great finale! Shiva I don't know what the heck's going on with Bill's hair....I read somewhere about how good his hair looked when he went to visit the queen...whereas it normally doesn't.

Can't wait for next season already...wonder who kidnapped Bill?

So you're part of Team Eric, eh? I was totally into Bill the first season but they keep making dorkier and not near as sexy as season 1. Eric, on the other hand, got a whole lot hotter with the short hair, IMHO. And the dream Sookie had after tasting his blood... that was delicious! I could see myself switching teams, not that I really want to admit that.

I mean, would it hurt for Bill to go back to the rugged sexy look of season 1 (1st pic) as opposed to season 2? UGH!

And of course my first suspect would be Eric because he said he'd take care of Bill, but I don't think Eric would resort to such a thing as kidnapping with silver. So hmmmm....

I've read all the books, if you guys want a "small" teaser, I can at least tell you who got Bill..I went back and looked it up today

Did you guys know that Sookie and Bill are engaged in real life? And that the lady sitting on the bar at the end of the show that told Sam "who'd of thunk something like this would happen here?" is Charlaine Harris, that wrote all of the books?

Ohhh, now that I think about it, I think I know who took Bill. I knew we had not seen the last of that person! That's my guess, don't tell me. I want to think about it for 9 more months.

I knew they were a couple but not engaged! Be interesting as the seasons progress. Hope he's not the jealous type. I haven't read the books but I've spent my fair share of time on BlueWhalePub to know what's going to happen. I'm assuming. Depends on Alan Ball, I guess. But the mystery is part of the fun, eh?

Ah! I'd been trying to guess where Charlaine was in the episode after I saw her name in the credits. Thanks for pointing that out!

Nope. They'd be nice as collector items but I don't collect stuff like that anymore. And I can't drink it, it's not vegetarian. Otherwise I'd prolly have ordered a case.

That was a good finale. I'm becoming hooked on HBO and Showtime series as well. Been watching Dexter, Hung, True Blood, and Weeds. The great thing about them, for me, is you can check to see when they end and if they'll be picked up for another season relatively early.

Being overseas means I have to get my shows by "other" methods than just DVRing them and some dependability and stability in a show is much appreciated.

I've never read the books but I really wanted to see more of Godric. He was by far the coolest vampy so far.

If ya wanna know, in the books who gets bill, I will tell ya. I've read them all. You should get them. They are so good. Exciting. Even if they followed the books, I would still watch the show, to see the characters come to life. Just as exciting as the show, if not more. Charlaine Harris is the writer. They aren't called True Blood, they usually have dead in the title. Like Club Dead, Dead after Dark, Dead and Gone, Dead as a Doornail, Definitely Dead, etc.... LOL
