I've had numerous encounters throughout my life with fleas, so I would rule that out immediately. If you are receiving those kinds of nips and you see no fleas, there are no fleas. They really aren't that sneaky once they are established. Just look down at your white socks as you wander the house, if an infestation were causing that many bites you'd see them. Run your hand backwards through your animals coats and look..etc.

I lived on a Farm and on the river. I've bombed houses for fleas. I've pinched and squeezed those jerks to death. If you can't find them, it's not them.

I've never had bed bugs though, so I have no idea what to watch for / expect.

If you truly believe it's not bed bugs, just do a test. Go sleep in another room with clean linens and a fresh pair of night clothing, use a different pillow..etc. See how you feel in the morning.

But seeing a doctor for allergy tests and all that stuff is important too.

I hadn't thought of scabies yet so I went to look it up and it seems to suggest that it's easily transferred to ones husband/wife/sexual partner. Since my partner does not have these red bumps and I'm going on over 5 weeks with them I have to conclude that it's not scabies since we've been close and he's not gotten them and it seems that scabies are highly contagious through skin to skin contact.

Never the less I'm going to look at the bumps on my arm when I get home with a high powered magnifying glass as what I read suggests that I'd be able to see them if they are scabies burrowed into the skin using either a magnifying glass or a microscope.

Now I'm totally itching all over even where I don't have bumps LOL.

Gonna go home and soak myself in calamine lotion.

when I reduced the ciggies from 3 PAD to 2-3 ciggies a day I developed a rash on my back... and a rather nasty one at that.. it lasted for about 10 days and pretty much started about 2-3 weeks after I did the ciggie reduction... guess it took that long before my body decided to purge itself of all the toxins in me...
