Here are my eGos.

The embossed one on the left has a Smoketech mini carto on it, the White (or used to be white) Twist has the vivi nova mini (clearly I need some thread covers stat!), the purple eGo has a Stardust, and then the blue Apoloe mini has another smoketech shorty carto on it. (LOVING those cartos btw!) And since they are clear (tinted with color) you can see how much juice is left, which I think is more important with a shorty. No filler taste with those either...I'm grabbing a ton more of them tomorrow.

I like the size of your smoketech tanks. Is the carto size 22mm or 35mm? I have a mini vivi nova and mini ego on order but looking at your pic the mini nova might be too big :(

If you wre referring to my pic...the smoktech cartos on my mini and embossed eGo are 22mm. LOVE them! GotVapes has them in 4 colors (red, blue, yellow, and clear)

eGo-C Twist with a CE3 ... modified by using some 3/8th inch inside diameter shrink tube. It looks okay all in all, but would be better if I had a cone for it. Only real downside would be not being able to see juice left if there's a cone on it. I intentionally left the tubing short at the coil end to at least be able to see where the fluid level is. Thus far I've only done this to one of my CE3s tho.

I love my blue Ego. Such a pretty color.

You should put a shortie cone on that thing to smooth it up. Or get you a full sized cone and a tapered punch to expand the end of the cone so it will fit around the CE. I've done that with a couple of mine. Super easy and neat looking.

Yeah, that's the general idea behind using the shrink tube. I'm just worried about the idea of not seeing the juice level and getting a nasty dry hit.

With the mini cone, it's not going to affect it at all. Just makes it smoother looking than the tank cone you have on there. But with a full cone, you'll still see the level at the top, half of the clearo will still stick out.

Mini cone. . .

Ah yeah, the tread cover cone. I will probably pick one up next time I'm at the vape store here in Orlando. But with my shrink tube, you're going to be hard pressed to see fluid in and of itself. But I think with a bored out bigger cone, it would still clean up nicely.

Of course tomorrow I get to start playing with a Phoenix RBA, so I'll take some Twist pix with that as well. :)

I am a strict eGo user (so far). I am learning as I go. Mine aren't the prettiest, but I have always been more practical. I like the eGo 1000 mah passthroughs because I work construction and they fit most easily in my shirt pocket and the 650 mah is a little short for my hand. I keep the fat ego MOD for home vaping. I started out using the type- B tank system but i have been disappointed in the strength of the flavors and sometimes the vape as well. Recently, I bought some cartos and clearos ( low resistance)and I like the improvement in strength and flavor a lot more. I found ECF a few days ago and I have learned more in 3 days than I have in the past 5 months of vaping. I think I am going to try a VV for added options. There are millions of set-ups out there, but eGo was my first and I am a bit brand loyal. I have read good reviews about the eGo Twist and will probably buy one soon.

Good Luck! :vapor:

Okay, so it becomes a little top heavy with a Phoenix on it, but with the tank cone, it does flush up nicely.

Of course that sleeve is designed with a tank's air holes in mind. The threads of a Phoenix are sealed and it has it's air hole on the side. So I might invest in this sleeve to clean it up a little more.
