How are you liking that Submarine tank, YoureFired? I have a friend who got one and he seems quite pleased. I've been thinking about picking up a tank myself, but I'm on the fence between that one and the Buzz M1A1. Both have the screw on the side, which I think is a big plus.

I like the Submarine Tank a lot. Besides looking really cool and different, it's been providing a nice clean and smooth vape. After a little trouble getting the top and bottom plugs in just right after each carto change, it stays in place nicely and everything stays bone dry, and with no maintenance required. Plus, I like the contrasting red o-rings in the black plugs.

The little screw goes in and out very easily for an easy refill and it's a very smooth, clean hole with no cracks or that shattered look around the hole. It's like they must drill the hole with a laser or something.

Thanks for asking. :D

Ron -

P.S. the clearo is a CE2 Ultimate with a clear drip tip...I will be adding an LED to it soon for the 'blade effect'...quite tasty filled with Vermillion River Florida Citrus lol...

Rook, those links to litecig in your hyperlinked post are now dead. They must have moved the products around. Sweet-looking set-up, though!

Thanks for the recommendation! Sounds like your experience is similar to that of my friend. Two solid endorsements for the Submarine! Yeah, I guess those M1A1's are supposed to be made of some virtually indestructible material, but if I'm not mistaken cracks or spider-webbing have been an issue around the fill-hole on them. Probably mostly an aesthetic issue, but still. I think the screw they use is plastic too. The M1A1 has caps though, which sounds like a plus. Overall, it sounds like the Mom and Pop's Sub is probably the winner when factoring in cost -- plus they make great juice! Thanks again!

The M1A1 looks nice. I especially like the caps and different colors available. But yeah, I guess the price difference is a factor for me. I still might get one or two of the M1A1's, despite the spider webbing around the hole.. As long as it doesn't leak around that area, which I haven't heard they do, but I'm just wondering..

I guess it never hurts to have back-ups, and of course back-ups for your back-ups. Hmmm...I didn't hear about the M1A1's leaking, but I'll certainly take your word for it. I did most of my tank research before discovering sGo Visions, but I'm kinda intrigued by tanks again. If you do end up going with the M1A1, keep us posted, if you'd be so kind. I don't think I've heard anyone give a direct comparison between the M1A1 and the Sub.

Oh Tez, I said "I haven't heard they do, but I'm wondering" in regards to leaking. It seems that even hairline fractures or possibly spider webbing could have a potential for leaking.

But if/when I do get an M1A1, I'll be sure to post on it.

I have a couple more tanks coming in next week, but the ones I've been getting are generally under $20 and they're all great and different in their own way. So it's hard to justify spending more than $20 on one when there's so many cool ones out there to try out for less. Two of those in that photo I actually found for under $10.

The cool thing about tanks is that when I ever upgrade to a larger PV system, like the SilverBullet or Provari, I can take all my tanks along for the journey..

Ah, my apologies, YoureFired...I clearly misread your post. Unfortunately this is how my brain works on the weekend. Thanks for clarifying! Yeah, you really can't beat the price on those Subs, and it sounds like you've found some other great deals too. The thing that has gotten me thinking about tanks again is the very thing you mentioned -- I'm considering one of the new Lavatubes, and thinking I will probably have to upgrade from my eGo-C cones as well -- in other words, I'll keep them around for the convenience of them, but they won't make it on the journey to modville. But I only started thinking about a mod upgrade when I got my Bulli A2-TM atomizer... This must be why people who set out to get a new remote control from Best Buy end up coming home with a several thousand dollar home entertainment system!

Another thing I've had my eye on lately are the CE5+ Rebuildable Clearomizer and the E1 Clearomizer ReVive - v2. "Rebuildable" is a misnomer here, and perhaps "replaceable" might be a better term to use, but it looks like you can replace the wicks and coil in these quickly and cheaply. So far from the few reviews I've seen, the CE5+ looks like it might be a little "buggy," but the ReVive seems to have solid potential. I'll probably wait until these have been on the market a while, and hopefully any potential kinks will have been worked out by then. Who knows -- I might take a shot before then, though!

O-rings :). Cool, isn't it!

Heh, my guess was some kind of weird drip shield or something. Shows what I know!

Speaking of light saber mods, have you all seen pbusardo's Boba's Bounty review? Skip ahead to 2:45 or so if you don't want to sit though the whole thing. Ron's is nicer of course, because he didn't use duct tape!

My favorite pbusardo mods have to be the mod he used in his Crab Juice review, or the functional vv mods he made out of old Atari joysticks!

Oh wow, haha that is over the top! They should use that on the Darth Vaper site!
