Ok a bit of my ego history. I started with a 650mah ego clone in a blister pack with a ce4.
Tried the EVOD, own a PT1 clone, and a Davide BCC Glassomizer. I love them all but I wanted to go back to basics. I love top coil clearos.

My ego-c Twist with an iClear 16, and my wife's ego-T and an iClear 16...ahhhh simplicity:

For what I've spent so far 2 months into vaping, and the hassle-free performance I've gotten outta these CE4's, I have no complaints. For my personal gear I've spent $35, and have the 650mah and 1100mah pictured, along w/ a 3rd under-powered 1100mah that the guy replaced for me. It works fine, but it literally doesn't last as long as the 650 I have. I still use it every day when I'm charging. I also have 10 CE4's that I'm constantly rotating w/ different flavors. I only vape 2 mL a day tops, and that's spread out thru multiple clearos, so they're only getting light usage w/ thin juice that doesn't gunk up. I'm still using the 1st clearo out of the bunch and it's working fine. My 2 batteries are still good as new and I've been following the tips for prolonging Li-ion. I could easily vape another 2 months w/o spending another dollar on gear, and that would put my daily equipment cost at not much over 25 cents a day. Even from a moderately priced B&M, I'm not spending too much more than a buck a day on juice, but now that I have my DIY supplies en route, I'm gonna be pushing my costs even lower! If ppl really do wanna get into this while being thrifty, it absolutely is possible if you're a quick learner. So many ppl end up spending boat-loads of cash, and although I do plan on upgrading gear soon, there's really no need for it just to get the basics.

I HIGHLY recommend the Kamry eCab V2...

I have been rocking this little guy HARD, it vapes very good for around 6 hours before I have to swap the battery, nice part is, unscrew the end cap, pop in a new battery and off I go vs having to screw it into a charger and wait a few hours to recharge (and yes I do have a 4xAA size battery carrying case)

I will say this, the 2.3Ω coil is just on the outside of the "recommended" range, I would say the perfect range would be 1.8Ω-2.2Ω because at 2.3 the vape is cool but there (have to hit it harder to get a good cloud)

I would say with a good Efest or AW button top it will be equivalent to a decent 900mAh eGo battery, beautiful thing...if the battery wears out...you chuck it and pop in a new one and keep on trucking...

Here is mine with a FT topper on it...vapes AWESOME (I might rebuild the coil to lower resistance to get a little bit more heat from the vape)

My lousy picture doesn't do this little rig justice at all

Just get an few AW or Efest button top and kapow!

-update- Yup, I rolled a 1.8Ω coil, at 3.3vdc regulated, vapes INCREDIBLY well...wow...a little tweaking goes a long way
