Only suggestions I could even come up with for a possible v2 would be:

- By far #1 for me: Easier filling. (Not sure how it would be possible - but would be nice if it was easier).
- Ability to go to a tighter draw on the p3 base. I have/use my kf4 tighter than I can get this Kabuki. But if it was too tight, maybe that would cause flooding, so maybe there's a reason behind it.
- Poly tank option. But I'm going to remedy that for myself as you know :)
- Although I have no issues - I've read of 510 connection issues?
- Try to smoothen out the air hole so it's not razor sharp :)
- Bigger capacity. BUT I'm already aware that you'd be sacrificing wicking, flavor and performance, so if it doesn't increase, I fully understand why!

When I do a V2 of the Kabuki (which isn't any time soon) I promise you won't be losing skin.

Zen, you could make the Kabuki 2 a round rubber ball, and I'd figure out a way to cut myself. Combination of klutz, bad thumbs and so-so eyesight. Which is one reason I don't build. I kept sticking the wires under my nails.

Yes this is with the P3 Kabuki. The thing is still very, Very tight. ;)
I don't have strong hands though...that may make a difference in user experiences.

Sorry you cut yourself.

I could see doing that on one of my 510.

These things are great for the Kabuki. However, the Kabuki does tend to rip off little pieces over time, but better these than my fingers.

In lieu of those, I was thinking about just cutting a piece of a rubber glove (like some people use for doing dishes) and using that. I think that will work just as well. :)

I kept sticking the wires under my nails.
 Ugh! That hurts just thinking about it!!

Meh, just only happened that one time. Now I use the tool provided! :D

I have one of the Mt Baker 510 Kabuki and haven't had any issues. When I first purchased my P3 with the Nautilus tanks, I purchased a bulk supply of genuine coils - then quit using them as I started rebuilding. So glad I purchased this tank and want to get one of the P3 threaded Kabuki. Probably going to need 2 though, because my wife, who didn't care for the Nautilus at all, really likes my Kabuki and borrows it on occasion (I lost 2 Squape Rs in a similar fashion).

Since I can't afford a Kabuki at the moment, I thought about gettng a few Nautilus but seeing how those that had the Nautilus and now have a Kabuki say there is a night and day difference ... Sigh. Is there that huge of a difference? I should just keep chucking pennies in the jar I suppose till I have enough for 2 Kabuki.

And to clarify, yes - there IS a difference for me. But they're much more "like" than "unlike" to me. I still use my Nautilus' every single day at work, and still enjoy them immensely.

MY comparison (which is clearly NOT a good indicator, based on the well-documented input of others), is:

  • Kabuki gives me an uptick in flavor and vapor, maybe somewhere between 10-20% better (tough to state exactly).
  • Nautilus gives me much greater capacity (5ml vs. 2ml), and is 90-95% quieter (important with my job), which is why it remains my tank-of-choice for work.

I like them both a lot.

Top fill screw port similar to the kayfun, but you know, on top?

@zen, you can add me to the list of someone who really needs one of your coil tools. I just had to try 8 different coils to find one that would screw all the way in....ugggg!!

By the way, can't wait to see you in Chicago again. ;) I remember getting my first Kabuki from you then & have been in love with them ever since!! [emoji178]

Might work? I thought of that as well... But might cause flooding... I don't know. Plus then I'm back to lugging a screwdriver around. But maybe it could have bothered options or something.
