Earlier I posted about my boxer mod dying. I want to be very clear about this as there has even some confusion I created mostly by not clearly and factually stating things but rating on and using descriptive words.

The mod stopped. working and glowed orange then smelling of melting. My interpretation to that was that it could have been something melting.

I built th e boxer. Any issues that happened may well be my fault.

It didn't catch fire at any point.

Ginger vapor had always been GREAT to me. They're an excellent vendor who has always gone above and beyond for,support..

I feel truly bad for insulting them.and their product. Which prior to this issue was my absolute favorite mod.

I will certainly be much more careful hiw I describe things. But my dedication to.gigner vape.csn be seen back in the boxer thread as well dating back a while now.

I'll be taking a break from forums now but I wanted to be clear. The boxer didn't burn my house down or cause any major issues. And I am the one responsible for building at least half of it. ginger vapor has always been a great vendor and the boxer a great product.

I'm sorry I found a way however unintentionally to. Paint them or it in a bad light.

Take care all.

Nah it's not right now. Nothing online is. My brain and hands aren't working right and everything I touch makes me seem..Either like I,have an iq of 12 or like IL,the world's biggest jerk. It's clearly time for me to..get off the forums and Internet in general..and just watch TV.

I'm sure I'll Pop in with a specific provari question or whatever but for conversations or opinions. Clearly my real life and the negativity in it is seeping into everything right now and I don't want to be a negative person who causes lunatic weirdness on forums. That's not me it makes me Look bad and I'm gutted its now made other people Look bad / insulting people / etc. none of which I want.

Especially with ginger. They were being very helpful and my conjecture about paying for repair was because I thought it was probably my fault the boxer stopped working. Which somehow came off as they were charging me to do anything with it. Couldn't be further from the truth. They've been helpful from point one on this despite the fact I bought and built the kit. So unknowingly insulting someone trying to help you is pretty bad.

Please don't be a stranger. I think we all feel this way off and on. It is an online forum after all. Meaning and intention are easily misconstrued. It happens.

Things can be worse, trust me on this one. You are breathing and able to post. All is well in the Universe. :)

h00ligan - I have enjoyed watching your postings in spite of your ailments. My husband suffers from some himself and it makes it quite difficult for him to get his meaning through sometimes so he rarely post but does love reading. I hope you change your mind and stay.

Yah sorry guys. I dunno what the hell has been wrong with me th e last couple of days. I'm all.over the place. Must be medication or something. The k you for the support. I managed to upset someone who was being very kind to me by not getting things right on my post and I was really upset with myself over it.

Three more weeks and things should start to get better. Sorry to introduce myself during such a tumultuous time.

Anyway I just wanted to say I had to clean my kabuki. It's SOO NICE TO CLEAN. Takes five seconds and it's sparkling fresh. What a change from most of my tanks which take a Ton of work and usually an air compressor to dry etc.

I accidentally pulled the bottom.of a coil and it came apart so I took the opportunity to see what damage I'd done. Seems like there were really only problems when I dry burned accidentally - no real indication my 16 watts were causing an issue just that when this tank gets to the last bit it needs to be filled. I'm used to temp control allowing me to eek every drop out before refill.

Flavor cross contamination seems low.

New coil design seems interesting.

So what's the overall . consensus on those $10 reusable coils. Worth it? I know they're reusable but for how long? A month? Year?

@Jim- I'd like to get a stainless tank I think. So please let us know what you think. Right now I'm embracing ray gun with a headband for protection. Headband is a little too large. Tanks saver came with a bottle of mews juice which was pretty good blueberry flavor juice but not something I'd buy regularly.

You can make anything look like a ray gun with a Taifun gt2 drip tip.

Tank also seems very durable.

P3 was mailed today thanks to my speedy seller. I may need to..replace the cap we will see. Now I wait for vape mail.. Also made my final.juixe order for the great stock up. England juices take two weeks to arrive.

Using a P3 Kabuki on my new Radius for almost a week now, so far so good. When I first got it, I was using Kanger/Innokin Subtanks. I saw that it was using Nautilus coils, and I thought, "uh oh, I wont get any vapor". Glad to say I was wrong, vapor production is just fine for me with 50/50 juice. Not billowing clouds, mind you, but really good vapor. Flavor seems good too. The best part: NO leaks whatsoever! That was my big pet peeve with the Kanger Subtank. Another poster from Texas noted that when he moved from heat to AC his Subtank would leak. Same issue with me, and if I left my mod in the car while I ran into the store, 100% chance I would have juice in my cup holder. It's no longer hot here in Texas, but based on the other users experience and mine so far with the Kabuki, I'm confident that it will be fine. The only 2 possible gripes I have are the capacity, and the fact that it seems a little hard to remove the base to refill. I understand that the capacity is for flavor, so I can live with that, and chances are my Orings aren't broken in yet.

In conclusion: Satisfied customer and saving my pennies for another Kabuki so I can change flavors. I never realized that I hated the 510 connection until I started using a P3 threaded tank. Pity the Provari 2.5 wont accept the Subtank with a .5 coil, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat to use my 510 stuff on.

@StealthyTX So I don't have the problem many do regarding the o rings being too tight. I feel they're looser than taking glass off the cage of the sub tank mini. Or close to. The problem for me or rather what I have to remember is to use a paper towel to really crank the coil in and then barely tighten the base. The thing for me is when I change mods k then screw it in holding the top. That over tightened the kabuki and the coil comes off with the top. If I remember to grip the kabuki by the base when I screw it into a mod and to only just tighten (like wow this may leak its sort of loose levels) then it never leaks and it's a snap to get apart. I find the number one reason everything gets too tight is screwing into a mod by the top not the base. Keep aware of that. Tighten the base initially less than you think you should. And let us know how it goes. Also it was 88 today in Phoenix so that's still hit to me round our parts!

If any of you want to share your provsri settings with the kabuki on top I'd love to know what preferences are.

How effective is boost with this tank?

Stealthy, I'm the other guy from Texas. And since I started carrying a P3 Ti in 18350 mode with a Kabuki in my pants pocket every day since August, I've had not one leak. Whereas, as you've discovered too, every Subtank leaked. And it was't like I was leaving the mods in the car, just walking from my AC office to my hot car, 50 yards or so away, would cause the Subtank to leak.

I consistently read two things related to the Subtanks. I haven't owned any yet, but it's been a constant consideration.

1. They're FREAKING AWESOME!
2. They leak a LOT.

Call me crazy but I'm having quite the difficult time reconciling the coexistence of those two characteristics.

And therein lies my dilemma.

Leaked out the ventilation holes, right? I would leave it in my car for 10-15 minutes, and not only would it leak, but I would try to vape it and get next to nothing :(

Which is, perhaps, why we are here, in the Kabuki thread :)
