Cross posting, but figured this might be the better place ... A P3 Kabuki is registering 0 ohms on one P3. When I put it on a different P3, it registers 1.84 ohms. It was fine, earlier. What did I do to muck it up, and how do I fix it?

0Ω or Open?

Maybe check and see if the coil is tight in the base, and maybe try to squish the o-ring under the pin of the P3 with your fingernail, that is registering 0P to see if you can raise the pin a bit?... I am assuming that you are getting a OP message?

The pin in your OP device is recessed, the easiest fix is to remove the coil and pull the center pin of the coil down a little, wrap some sewing thread into the gap caused by pulling it down and replace it. If it happens with multiple coils I'll exchange the base of your Kabuki with one that is machined deeper.

So the box mod provari vs the p3. The tubes are smaller. Easier to carry. But not as new. Not as forward ready. Maybe I can find one used but it seems unlikely! Plus I have all
Flat tops. Interesting to see they're all multiple sizes like 650 and 500 are any 350 and 650? Not sure what to get the base base stuff doesn't seem worth it to me. But maybe it is

The classic and the P3 will take flat top batteries. The P3 will take any battery size, the Classic comes with the ability for 350 and 490, but by adding an extra ring it gets you to 650.

Also, the 2.5 Mini can be used with all three battery sizes, but no flat tops. To use the mini with a 650, you need two P3 extension rings, so you have to pick a color that has rings available for it to do that.

The Radius is really an internal battery device, yes you can change the battery if you want to.

Thank you, Zen~. I just tried a different Kabuki on that P3 and it works flawlessly. I will be changing the coil in the Kabuki that doesn't want to connect in that mod, tomorrow. If it continues to be balky, I'll reach back out to you.

I'm laughing at myself, Enaud. Never got an OP message, before, and didn't recognize it for what it was. Just kept seeing 0 (ohms). Further proof that the brain sees what it expects to see!

You must have seen my post before the edit  BTW, the thread trick mentioned by Zen works the charm in a pinch ;) Don't ask me how I know this.

@zen and Guys how would the 510 kabuki work on a mini 2.5 - any problems? 15 watt max should,be ok and it comes with a ibtanked beauty ring. What's a fair price for that and would that be a good first setup for provari / kabuki or should I save up for the p3 or above? What would I be giving up on the 2.5? I'm fine with 18350 battery life I use a lpg all the time we kayfun built to 1 ohm and it was never an issue. These coils are 1.6 at the lowest so with two j think I'd be fine yah? Should look and work ok?

So what am I missing. What would be bad about getting this mini 2.5?
.appreciate the responses. Trying to work a deal out. Dont want to over pay or insult

I think Provape have the 2.5s on sale for a really good price right now. That is what I would do, you should be able to stock up on accessories while you are there :)

Props to you Zen~

I'm just going to mention that, if you can swing just a little more moola, there have been some stellar deals in the classies on lightly used updated P3s which would give you all Three battery sizes, flat top and button top battery options, and both 510 and p3 connection.

Yah thanks to zen I ordered something. Just to dip a toe in. However as I returned to bed that boxer mod that wouldn't fire my tank before. Well I changed batteries. Turned it on. Set the resistance. Hit fire. And the front by the change buttons glowed orange and the smell of burn came through. Now it's dead.

So I wonder if I need to get the bigger one.

Rain pour. I still have a ray of light named zen who really helped me out tonight and has opened what I believe is going to be a very informative and interesting line of questioning. I'll be able to follow along with a quite old but new to me provari and get a tie into what you all seem to love.

@zen thank you so much my friend. If you ever need help with something I can offer (I'm a technologist and quite capable web designer but my recent full time work is as a published photographer too) if any of that ever fits into something you need help with. Just ask.

You're a great guy. And I'm glad I got to know you. Thank you.
